Okay, I'm a sap for romance, I admit it.
So we went to Jewel's surprise party. Which turned out to be a double surprise, cause Goten finally got off the stick and asked her to marry him. And what a shock to all of us, she said yes.
I for one was surprised. I mean, it's so obvious that the two of them are in love, why would they ever want to get married.
All sarcasm aside, the two of them were positively radient. And little Miss sarcastic pants can say what she wants, it was darned cute watching them. You'd have to have a heart made of stone not to be affected by them. They're so right for each other.
Rather like Krillen and I are. Yes, I know folks think we make an odd couple, but I do love him and I know he loves me. And that's what matters.
It was nice, having all of us gather together to enjoy this special event. And soon we'll have a couple weddings to attend. Bulma is going to have a baby, and why do I have a feeling Bardock and Sonya won't be far behind. Not at the rate they're going for it. I just wonder if they'll be married before the first kid arrives. Not that it really matters these days.
Krillen took his GED. He's supposed to know if he passed some time this week. I'm betting he did. He's smarter than folks give him credit for. A lot smarter. And he really wants this.
I've been thinking of finding another job, but I'm not sure yet what I want to do. I know I don't want to waitress ever again, cause as far as I'm concerned, working with the general public means working with idiots. And I don't want to work anywhere where I can't tell idiots to shut the f*ck up.
