Clay looked downright beautiful.
I don't say that too frequently about a pitcher, but I often find that when I do it's Clay's stuff that I am referring to. On a good night, like tonight, he can be downright overwhelming and dominating. The problem is that a good night can only be a great night if the offense helps out, and tonight that wasn't the case. The only Sox run was scored when Jacoby (with Jed on first) beat out an infield hit to score Coco, who was on third.
So, offense, just one question for you:
How can you say no to that face?

Also, and I know this is random, but is it a bit wrong that I can write an entire story in my head revolving around Jed and Jacoby trying to read
this Wikipedia page in ultra-serious voices and giggling hysterically over it? Yeah, it probably is.
