Yes, I'm still awake.
I just got back from the Relay (which was theoretically supposed to go until eight in the morning except that the attendance dropped considerably as the hour drew late), and I'm probably just going to stay up - I don't see why I shouldn't. Apparently I missed what was a bit of an ugly game on the Sox side, but I didn't miss either Pauley or Bowden, which makes me feel better.
And since everyone else is announcing this, I might as well, too: there could be some Rick Rolling at Shea this season. The internet is now doing Jed and Justin's bidding. What's next for those two, honestly, Rick Rolling Mars or something?
On one of my breaks earlier this morning, since I had nothing better to do and my laptop (which wasn't working internet-wise, augh!) was with me, I did an Oregon Trail live-blog. Actually, I did 1.5 Oregon Trail live-blogs, because the first run, which was going swimmingly, shut down on me halfway through, and I had to start over. The second run was positively catastrophic, and it ends with Jed Lowrie dying of a fever somewhere in the Midwest. I'll post it at
or_trail_live shortly. I just have to fix up the screencaps I took, and it'll be ready.
The other break project was a bunch of loose sketches of a bunch of the Stanford kids in the band uniforms. Why? Because the band uniforms seriously entertain me. And no, nobody is the Tree. Although I thought about it.
