Okay, so I'm probably the only person who's never seen this meme before, but it just looks like a lot of fun. I got it from

Jed was the one I knew everyone was going to nail me on right away. (gets all red and embarrassed)

You and I have had quite a few odd conversations concerning Jonathan in the past, so this'll be fun...I think you'll remember the first one.

1. Jonathan is the only current member of the team who knows about Josh's secret passion for the Spice Girls. He accidentally walked in on Josh when he was blasting their music in the clubhouse. Although he found it funny, he promised Josh he would never divulge it to anyone, and so far he's kept his word. That being said, if asked about Josh when drunk, he'd probably bring it up quickly, but everyone on the team knows better than to try to communicate with him when he's drunk.
2. He was actually rather excited about going to Japan, even if he was a bit uneasy at first when it came to being able to eat. You see, he and Manny had been discussing traveling there anyway to appear as a team on a popular game show over there, so this trip was just another opportunity to try to get through those barriers. (I heard that Fox is bringing that show to America!)
3. He once considered setting up a karaoke night during Spring Training just to give himself an excuse to perform one or two of his favorites - and was told that neither this one nor this one would be particularly appropriate, given that he probably wouldn't be sober when performing them. He then suggested this one, but that was the final straw and he was turned down.

Yay, Oofuri! A part of me was hoping for something with someone from that canon...

1. They grew up Lions fans, as most kids in the area did. In general, children try to emulate their heroes when they start playing for the first time, and the kids at Nishiura had been no different as young boys. It's a funny thing, but when Abe took the time to think about why Mihashi had so many breaking balls in his arsenal it suddenly made sense.
2. They were both uneasy about the time Momoe made Tajima learn to be a backup catcher. Mihashi was unsure he'd be able to work with anyone besides Abe, even though he considered Tajima a good friend. Besides not thinking Tajima was truly suited to be a catcher, Abe really just didn't want Tajima getting in between him and Mihashi. (He knew that Tajima was better suited for Hanai, anyway, but that's another story for a different time.)
3. Abe is convinced by this point that he knows what is best for Mihashi and is thus very defensive of him. It's almost like he's become Mihashi's mother - and considering the way Mihashi's mother is just like Mihashi, this might not be too much of a bad thing. He probably needs the protection.

You should do the meme, too! It's a lot of fun...

Oh, and just because:
