Just some hodgepodge again...eh.

Well, it had to happen at some point. Today I woke up to some...interesting sounds coming from my neighbor's room. Ugh.

That aside, let's turn to better, more interesting things - like the fact that David Ortiz is (probably) in camp. Hooray! (ProJo confirms what the Globe is assuming. Go ProJo!) Also from ProJo, we have a story from the Washington Post - apparently the Sox have made an offer to pitcher Odalis Perez. Do we need him? That's not for me to decide, of course, but we'll see how this plays out.

The people in the room next to me are now blasting The Beverly Hillbillies on their television. Is it wrong that as soon as I heard the theme song I started laughing because the main character's name is Jed Clampett? (There was a brief period of time in which I referred to everyone's favorite shortstop prospect as Jed Clampett Lowrie.) I am seriously considering writing The Ballad of Jed Lowrie now, but let's not go there...

Speaking of which, I did some work on the Masterson Rick Rolling Project last night, which is another weird thing that I probably shouldn't be doing but am doing anyway because Justin Masterson looks really funny in a Rick Astley wig. Actually, he'd probably look really funny in any sort of wig just because it'd be weird to see him with hair, but anyhow...

On that note, you know what's really fun? Seeing how many people are sent to this video every hour. I might do an experiment with this at some point...

That's all for now - nothing new has happened that's really noteworthy right now.

EDIT: Made my first attempt to procure a copy of Men's Vogue. Failed because right now the only issue available is the last one, not the most current one. Will try again in a day or two.

EDIT 2: Go ahead and call me a nerd, but doesn't Tito bear at least a slight resemblance to Captain Picard? Yes? No?
