Clayboy is on my iPod! Woohoo!

I stayed up a little late last night working with my iPod. You see, I decided to download Clayboy's no-hitter off of iTunes (because I could, you know), and it took a long time. I got it onto my iPod around 1:30 or so in the morning, and the picture is surprisingly good. I can see every little detail, from the way Clay chews on his glove to his facial expressions, and it's awesome. I just love the idea of being able to take him with me everywhere I go. Now all I need to do is replace the album art with a picture of Mihashi, and it'll be perfect.

Otherwise, nothing new or exciting happened that's of note. There was a nice article on 2008's rookie class on MLB.com today, which actually was very cute. You can read it here if you're interested. I liked this little line from the beginning:

This isn't supposed to happen.
Rookies aren't supposed to shut down lineups or light up pitchers. They're not supposed to venture far from the end of the bench, and -- goodness, no -- they're certainly not supposed to throw no-hitters.
Yet baseball's rookies did all of those things in 2007. Give them a chance, and they might just do them again in 2008.

Never doubt the power of a real pitcher who looks and acts like a fictional one. Yeah. (Okay, so Clayboy is admittedly less panicky than Mihashi is, but the similar facial expressions are still there.)

The only other thing I did yesterday was draw something inspired by the e-mail Margie Ellsbury (Jacoby's mom) sent Boston.com. As I mentioned yesterday, I have a suspicion that Clay, Jacoby and Jed are inseparable, hence the image behind the upcoming cut. And yes, I admit to totally Mihashi-fying Clay, but admit it - you knew I would do it. I used my Prismacolor markers (some of which I probably need to replace and would if they weren't so expensive) and colored pencils.

EDIT: Episodes 21 and 22 of Oofuri are up! Yay!
