I lost sleep over the Hot Stove last night. The possibility of losing Jacoby has now increased, although I'm hoping that Theo is just pretending to offer him in an attempt to get the Yankees to go even further - because let's face it, sending Jacoby anywhere is just plain stupid. Theo also wants more than just Santana if Jacoby is to go to Minnesota, as well, so that might help out the 'keep the prospects here' cause. There are some people, after all, that you just can't afford to lose.
I have finals beginning one week from now, so I really don't need all this added stress. A part of me actually wants Santana to stay in Minnesota, and another part of me wants him to actually go to the Yankees - that's the part of me that is obsessed with our middle infield prospect Jed Clampett Lowrie and wants to keep him forever. All of me is sure that he's not worth Jacoby, Jed, and Masterson or Bowden, though. Lester, too, is somebody I'd love to hang onto if possible. I had a feeling that Coco was on his way out anyway, but...

(On a positive note, both Oregon State and Arizona State won last night. Finally, Pedroia has something over Francona!)
