STEFAN WELCH LOVES US!
Not really. But soprano_no_eiji and I have started a habit of sending birthday cards to our favorite players. We sent one to Stefan Welch this year whilst he was in Single-A Port St. Lucie. And...he actually wrote back to us.
He sent us each one because we both signed his birthday card. He's just the sweetest thing in the entire world and I'm hoping for all the best with him next season! I'm certainly keeping tabs on him - he was on Australia's WBC squad, after all.
