A battle between good and evil shall be waged as STAR WARS takes center stage!!!
Please join us for our 2nd Annual STAR WARS DAY as the PAWSOX welcome 25-30 of your favorite STAR WARS characters from the 501st New England Garrison www.501neg.com and the Rebel Legion/Alderaan Base, on SUNDAY, April 25, 2010 at McCoy Stadium, home of the Pawtucket Red Sox!!!
The New England Garrison is part of a STAR WARS costuming fan club that currently holds a 4000+ membership in all 50 U.S. states and 25 countries worldwide. From Stormtroopers to Snowtroopers, Bounty Hunters to Sith Lords, the 501st is the premier Imperial Star Wars costuming fan club in the galaxy!
The Rebel Legion/ALDERAAN BASE is the sister organization of the 501st and focuses on REBEL LEGION costumes, such as Jedi, X-WING Pilots and such well known characters as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca!!
Darth Vader, Jedi, Storm Troopers, Rebel Pilots & more will be ready to meet and greet you and perhaps show you the ways of the FORCE or the Dark Side at McCoy Stadium, this Sunday!!

This is kind of epic. Not just that it's on my birthday, but that there will be cosplayers, too. That and Jed will likely be there, raising the nerd quotient even more. I really would love to go to this. I hope they dress the PawSox up, too. Spiffy uniforms. I'd die if they based them off of Rogue Squadron, but I'd be happy with anything.
