Even more microbes!
So soprano_no_eiji and c_for_cinephile decided to be really nice to me and they bought me two more microbes for Valentine's Day! Hey, Valentine's Day is about celebrating friendships, too, not just that romantic fluffy stuff! So here are my two new microbes:
This little guy is known as a water bear! They're technically known as tardigrades, but water bear is their common name, and they're just plain adorable!
Look at that sweet face!
STREPTOCOCCUS! This was my nemesis during my childhood. I think in the course of my career at Somerville Elementary School, I must've caught strep throat upwards of one hundred times. That's an overstatement, of course, but you get the idea.
