Just a quickie before I leave for Spring Training tomorrow morning. I haven't had much time to post in between then - sorry!

I'll miss everyone, as usual - I promise to take as many pictures and score as many games as I possibly can!

Hey, that's very nice of you to wish me a happy birthday...even though it's not until SEPTEMBER! LOL! I suppose it could be my Happy Half-Birthday...

That's why the whole thing is weird - LJ said your birthday was coming up on my log-in page! I am so confused with the site right now...

Thank you! I'm so excited! And it was odd...I just deleted it. I think it was a one-time hacking or something. And I guess now I have more space for new icons now!

That's really strange...not even close! I definitely didn't get any sort of similar notification about myself, although I did when my actual birthday was coming up. LJ is being attacked by gremlins, it appears.

Nothing says "springtime and newness" like new icons -- go for it!

ETA: I see people are making picture requests. Although I still have major eyes for Lugo, I'm also thinking that Ramon Ramirez may end up being the next addition to my list of baseball boyfriends, so if the spirit moves you... :D

It was weird, unless I somehow misremembered something somehow. Either way, I'll make sure to get the correct date later this year when it comes around!

I kind of think I need one of Yu Darvish. Er, just because. I may have to do it.

I'm not sure if I have any of Ramon (I'll have to check), but I did get a few of Lugo before he went down because my game was on Thursday! He and Jed were taking BP together, so I did snap a few of him (he looked right in my direction for a second, so I just had to get them!).

Golly, I don't blame you for wanting to icon Yu Darvish. I hadn't been paying attention...just Googled him and almost fell out of my chair. I didn't realize he's half Iranian. Mixing up the ol' gene pools will make for prettiness 98% of the time! :::wipes sweat from forehead:::

Ah, taking BP together. It's like Jacoco all over again. I'm looking forward to seeing those. I am one sad puppy right now about Julio's injury. He just can't catch a break and it really sucks... :(

Every single time I see him I have to just stop and stare blankly for several minutes. I really can't do much else for a while because all I can comprehend is "OH LOOK IT'S YU DARVISH YAY" and my brain kind of shuts down. And that's before I start watching him throw sliders, too.

I was excited for him this year - he was really starting to turn things around and all, too! (He got the first RBI in the game I was at on Thursday.) I really feel terrible...

Julio was doing great, he really was. Batting .450 and no errors...folks were starting to talk "comeback year." He's supposed to be back in just four weeks, so it could still happen. :::crosses fingers:::
