I kind of can't believe I did this.

It wasn't as dangerous as it may sound or look - I was perfectly safe the entire time. It may date to 1929, but it was a perfectly safe biplane. If you're ever in the general area of Rhinebeck, New York, go check it out! (I would've preferred to go up in some of the ones that date to World War I, but I doubt they'd let me...)

Tomorrow we will go down the shore to the boardwalk. This will mean much cooler weather (I got so sick today that I fell asleep during the Sox game, which absolutely never happens) and an arcade. I haven't been to a true arcade in a long time, and I seriously look forward to it. I'll probably go to bed rather early tonight (for me, at least) just so that I have some extra time to recover from what may have been some serious heat poisoning of some sort, and tomorrow should fully refresh me. Two days in a row out in 95 degree weather has started to take its toll on my body.

Also, I did manage to get a cracked out Oofuri idea that I might actually write whilst I was up in the air. Y'know how a pilot with enough skill and kills can earn the title of flying ace, right? I was thinking of taking the Last Exile route with it and giving them navigators, though, because really, sure, Mihashi could probably learn to fly the plane, but if Abe wasn't there to tell him where to go and which targets to shoot down he'd be helpless and panicky.

And come on, Haruna as Motoki van Richthofen, anybody? I kind of want to see that.
