Today was fun even at the cost of my back! Besides, I saw Wake!

I really didn't do too much sitting down today.

I was on cooking duty for most of the afternoon, and whilst I got to see Wake's knuckler in action (it looked fantastic today!) I was helping put together some cookies for my friend (I conveniently had the advice of this kid on how to do things), so I was running around the kitchen the whole time. Today was a nice, solid win, though, despite the weird lineup - and I just have to say that seeing Wake get some run support at last was really lovely.

So to make a long story short, my legs are quite tired right now, and my back is starting to bother me a bit, but it's not like that's going to stop me from going into the city tomorrow morning to get garlic pickles. After all, those are the best things ever.

Oh, and the only college team to sweep in the Super Regionals so far? The kids with the Tree. I like it!

Also, because I can, two important things happened in my fictional life today:

~ Slumberwood won its first Super Regional game today. It was a pretty routine win except for the fact that Sheridan had two hits in the game in his first two at-bats, so the offense decided to intentionally walk him with a runner on second. He waited for the first three pitches, then swung at the next two so that they had to be called strikes, and then finally stuck his bat out on the last one and bunted up the third base line for a hit. And he ran it out. I don't get that kid sometimes.

~ Since it's past midnight and I'm officially writing this entry on June 8th, happy birthday to my fictional homeboy, Yuuto Sakaeguchi! (This means lots of cake, of course...!)
