I normally get up at reasonably normal times, but for whatever reason I slept until two in the afternoon today. So no, nothing really got done. I spent most of my afternoon watching baseball-related things (as if by a coincidence, I turned on This Week in Baseball to see a feature on Daisuke Matsuzaka that focused on Yokohama High School, which

I started writing up the prelude thingie of what set the whole fake wedding plans. It's mostly about Pauley and Moss right now. Speaking of Sunbeam, I think he's taking this mission really really far because he just hit 3 HRs in a game...and went back to back with Chris. So yeah that's worth noting. Oh and blinding_voip was at the Red Sox game!! *jellis*

Little kids playing baseball - especially outside of leagues - is honestly one of the purest expressions of the game out there. I think it's beautiful...and really cute when they're in kindergarten hitting off a tee. (Our league uses minor league affiliates instead of big clubs on the shirts, too, which warms my heart.)
It was so nice to come home to the news that Manny had done it! I was so excited!
