Okay, the history camp I volunteer at during the summer just got better this year. Check out Week 2:

It's a lot of fun to research...I really want to get into the Cooperstown archives to get at the really early 1860s records, because that's what I'm trying to work with. (I actually play by 1860s rules with my reenacting group when I'm back on campus...it's so fun!)

I absolutely love the strategy that goes into everything...I'm actually planning to be a military historian, although my favorite period is actually the Napoleonic Wars (I need to go to grad school to take care of that bit...!). I love reenacting, though...it's such a joy.
