Just got back from a rather nice walk with my dad, which was the end to a fun day in which Mihashi Ren made me broke again. It seems that every time I acquire any sort of money, it ends up going to the Clay Buchholz lookalike and his crazy-but-awesome teammates.
Today I once again found myself in Kinokuniya with my friends, and the Oofuri soundtrack was there. So of course I had to buy it, because owning Oofuri merchandise is fun, even if it means I don't have too much spending money on me anymore. Now the cool thing about owning the soundtrack is that it comes with player cards. Yes, even though these kids are in high school (and fictional, although I occasionally fail to acknowledge that), they get their own player cards, just like real ballplayers. It lists their stats (which I will attempt to translate as best as I can here) and other bits of information, like their blood type (which is actually common in manga and anime due to
a theory involving the fact that one's personality is dictated by one's blood type).
