Julian Tavarez was just designated for assignment.

We'll see if he clears waivers and ends up in Pawtucket, but I highly doubt it - he's likely to be useful to somebody. Good luck out there, Yoyo!

Aside from the likelihood of his being picked up if they put him on waivers, I don't think there's any chance he'd accept assignment to Pawtucket. He'd take his chances as a free agent instead.

That's what I thought - I can't see him electing to go to the Minors, either. I'm wondering if that whole Colorado thing is going to go down, in that case - I recall hearing that they were looking at him...

Ah, Batshit. I'll miss him.

I'm sure Pap will be totally willing to fulfill the insanity quotient in the 'pen, though...

I'll miss Yo-Yo too. It took awhile, but he did grow on me. What an odd individual, not that there's anything wrong with that, of course!

He was such a character! I'll miss having him around - he was a blast to watch out there (especially when he wasn't pitching horribly!).

He was fun to have around, that's for sure! What a character...

...I think that's why Pap is around, to be honest. That's his job when he's not being all lights-out!

Oh my God, those are fantastic. Especially that second one.

These things are essential to life now.
