I find that I get quite jealous of certain friend's and former friend's new friends and love interests.
I think this has less to do with actual jealousy and more to do with nostalgia. I want my friends and former friends to stay forever the way they were in my memory. I don't want to miss them. And I do miss them, especially when I see pictures and hear reports of them out with new, interesting people.
...I also think this is a generally negative trait that I should try to correct. Unfortunately, I have no idea how.
