the first rain of the season is here. there're about three clouds in the entire sky, the rest is pale blue like always, but there's thunder coming from somewhere in the distance, and the damp grass, wet pavement, fresh air smell of the rain (and its pat-pat-pat on the ground) are coming in through my bedroom window.
