Somehow I can imagine such a thing still involving a certain level of straying from the typical standard of 'normal'. I suppose that it could be a worthwhile distraction however, potentially it could end up catching the minds of others nearby as well.
I believe the phrase is great minds think alike. In seriousness perhaps we are two minds which have been around long enough to understand points of view which would otherwise be disregarded. I’m certain that our opinions would be ill received beyond a simple level of ‘dislike’, if they do not question into such a matter then it is perhaps best to stay silent.
I cannot personally say that I can see such a thing working terribly well, if at all, either. People here seem to be so different, too different perhaps to share common sets of regulations and punishments, while the majority seem to share the common flaw of letting their emotions cloud their judgement. I can certainly say that I would find it difficult to obey a system which could be biased against me due to an opinion. On the matter of defence, a level of trust is going to be required to make even the base of an organised system work. However, if those placed ‘in charge’ are not respected or trusted enough then others may be unwilling to state what they are capable of, even so they may not say if the rest of the population will be told. I have the uneasy feeling that, if one does not seem willing to share information, such a person will be treated as a guilty individual, which certainly would cause a degree of defence on their behalf.
People may seek a law here but we are not at the stage to think of such a thing, and shall not be until there is a high level of trust to use as a starting point.
Always such a people person~ Though I can only agree. More people getting out more is to be encouraged.
You flatter me a bit much to be put anywhere near you, but I suppose I have been around for some time, and I do try to stay silent unless it's with someone I know won't judge me too harshly~
There is one person I know of that could manage to be unbiased enough to do it, but he'd never take all the responsibility. He has self-esteem issues.
The better question is what will we do when more arrive? I've met some people who's worlds I would rather not see more of.
I wouldn't say that I was such a person but, I can see how it may come across as such. The fresh air would be good for some people, i'm sure, a little exercise and a chance to clear minds.
You're making me feel terribly old despite being younger by appearance. Clearly no one likes to have their ideas and opinions brought down before they have a chance to explain in detail, regardless of whether they are part of the Lilin or not.
I don't suppose it would be worth persuading him into attempting such a thing, would it? It could help him gain some confidence while presenting a fair opinion.
Begin from the starting point again, I suppose. That is certainly something else to consider, it is one thing to organise us as we are now but when others arrive in the future those plans could be disrupted.
