XXI ✟ [Accidental Audio]

[What's a night time transformation without at least one person out for blood? Not everyone can be relatively peaceful or harmless within the Halloween time.

There's a soft clicking sound in the background, gradually growing louder. Bones trying to fit into another form perhaps? The apparent change seems to end with a low rumbling sound, not quite a ( Read more... )

The angel remained looming nearby, seeming to take the other’s injury into mind. Extensive enough to make things easier, it took a fair amount of fun out of the game but, really, he couldn’t be picky over such a thing. If he had been a vampire then surely that much blood would have set something off, perhaps it was something to be thankful over that he was far more interested in other things.

He sat back very slightly on his heels, or what was close enough to be called that, taking note of how the Lilim stood up shakily. Partially wondering what was going on, partially not caring. He was well aware that such a being didn’t have enough strength to do harm through his field, and attack would be pointless and he had the feeling that she wouldn’t attempt it either way.

He couldn’t see the arms but he could sense the movement, he could hear the voice but there’s was very little of his namesake left in him. Free will, an oxymoron of an angel. The beast stayed still for a few moments, seeming for a few moments that he had taken it in, a short lived moment before the killing instinct kicked back in. While he might have once had the will to defy his nature in his other form, in this one at this time he was as loyal to his blood line as the others had been. Uncaring about the ones from the other moon.

If she had to repeat herself, so be it. There wasn't a single moment where she would dare lay a finger on Kaworu knowingly. Placing her palms down flatly near her upper chest, Ai closed her eyes tightly and let her voice ring out as high as possible. Repeatedly saying his name, she was at a loss of what else to do. If all her focus hadn't been on trying to get through to him, she might of heard the squawks of birds ascending from the trees at her response.

Why did this have to happen to him? In some perfect image she had set in her mind, Kaworu was the person she had admired most. Maybe he hadn't understood her romantic gestures but she could live that. What she couldn't live with was the acceptance of him the way he was now.

Removing her hands from her body, she slipped one into her basket and grabbed onto something orange. A long piece of fabric by the looks of it. When she pulled it away from the carrier, she held it in both of her hands with a whimper. The next time she had met him she had intended on wrapping it around his neck. "You aren't allowed to stay that way. I have to give you this. I mean, how will this fit you if you keep up that shape?"

The angel seemed to cringe very slightly at the sharp sound, more of an
annoyance and a pain than anything else. The repetition, the noise, was it really necessary? If he hadn’t caved to a Lilim on the first call, would he really after all of that. Regardless he didn’t seem to make an action to avoid the sound, no movement of hands up to wherever his ‘ears’ were, just his mouth seeming to take a very sharp turn downwards.

The low growling sound had returned as an almost exact match to the warning noises from the feed. Maybe this wasn’t the best target, too noisy and despite it all he couldn’t bring himself to find to killing effort, it would be wasted on someone like this surely. There could be other targets, ones who would put up more of a fight and chase while being less noisy overall.

He seemed to watch, if something without eyes could do such a thing, before turning his head elsewhere. There was enough sense in his head to know that his time was running short, short for what reason was a current mystery, and he needed to make use of this time...

The creature leaned towards her very closely before making a very clear warning sound, last chance.

Hugging the scarf to her small frame, Ai exhaled deeply as he leaned close to her. What was he going to do? Eat her with his strange mouth? If she died being food for him, she knew her parents would be very sad...if they even knew she was gone. Still, she was fixated on satisfying her urge to see the figure of the boy she was used to. Maybe it was selfish, stupid and hopeless to try, but she was doing her best to be a good girl for him.

Staying silent except for the occasional sniffle coming from her nose from holding back tears, she didn't falter in her promise to stay near to him despite the scary noises he tried to make.

With the warning given, he leaned back and moved away with the intention of leaving for some other source of food. One which wouldn’t make so much noise, while preferably still a Lilim of some kind. Difficult to find but there was no reason that he couldn’t snack during the search. As long as this one didn’t scare anything else away, he’d let her live, it could be tolerated to certain points. Of course there was always the other option which he had at hand for escaping the rather ignorant Lilim, angels were depicted with wings for a reason after all.

He started moving at a fairly quick pace, long strides at a constant pace. He had an idea of where to perch and look for food, high on the rooftops in the middle of the city, the perfect place to find and swoop when needed. It might get some distance between him and his little tag-along if nothing else.

She'd keep a watchful distance for now. Considering her choices left her with very little to choose from, the kogal felt content to take him in and be sure he was safe. Unaware he could handle himself on his own, her presence was probably as needed as much as a bothersome fly getting in your personal space. If any other residents ran into the strange shaped Kaworu she'd have to make sure they did not become his snack.

Wrapping the knitted garment around her own neck, with a limp to her right leg she proceeded forward cautiously. Keeping to the buildings walls or any other objects she could overt from being seen as much of her presence she could keep hidden looked to be the best option.

As Tabris paid relatively no attention to the girl now, letting her stumble along in the one-track minded determination. As he’d thought before, it was unnecessary and unwanted but it could be ignored for the moment. If there was an interference with his hunting though, well, he wouldn’t hesitate after this to take out her and whichever target he happened to choose.

The angel could easily ignore the fact that the Lilim was limping along, presumably still bleeding. If someone else came along and made her a snack, well, no skin off his technical nose, it would just be an irritation taken away due to her own stupidity. ...And surely that particular thought would come back to haunt him when he could think clearly again.

Very slightly he stretched out his wings, testing them for the moment they’d come into use.

That wound of hers wasn't going to stop bleeding unless she put some pressure on it. In the time she had spent ignoring it in the past few minutes, her once white sock had become deep red color. As fashion conscious as she was, she didn't seem to give a damn. She had found something far more important to her then looking good.

Watching with fascination, Ai had to admit that the sight of his wings were hauntingly beautiful. Letting her jaw drop, she simply gawked. There was nothing like this back home. Maybe special effects in a movie could create it, but this was real and right in front of her.

There was very little left for the angel to actually do for the time-being, now having to resort back to getting to his ideal perching spot to wait for some undetermined amount of time. A task he really would have rather done without but there was nothing he could actually do about it at this point, too little too late.

Spreading the wings out a little more, making sure that everything seemed fine when fully extended, he kicked off the ground. It would be faster than walking or running, besides he could always find something from the air and go down on it. A much better idea.
