[What's a night time transformation without at least one person out for blood? Not everyone can be relatively peaceful or harmless within the Halloween time.
There's a soft clicking sound in the background, gradually growing louder. Bones trying to fit into another form perhaps? The apparent change seems to end with a low rumbling sound, not quite a

[Well, Ai, not all angels come with fluffy wings and nice clean clothing. Call it divine intervention.
At the very least it's something which will happily eat you and the neighbours.]

It takes her quite awhile to form an appropriate response to what she was seeing. Her life was pretty average before she came here and she still hadn't gotten used to occasions like these.]
What are you?

[The more you know.
Either way, giving a response would need a voice box, something which he lacks. He could go to the extent of making hand movements but really, he's not about to do that. There are more important things to do, like find a decent amount of food.]

[She doesn't want to believe that might be the boy she's grown to adore over the past months. Just trying to make herself accept it makes her hurt deep down in her chest in a way she's never felt before.]

[Is he going to answer? No. Does he technically have his name sake, that free will? Not really.
He's simply stuck with the angel's thought-pattern in his head. Kill anything that isn't family and moves. ...He won't recall after sunrise.]

I'm coming to find you.

[Oh, Ai. That would be a dangerous, if not deadly, trail to take. He's not in his right mind; he could try to make a meal out of you.
Is it wise to try to make a point to yourself and risk injury if not worse?]

He'd do the same for her--or she'd like to think he would.]

[He would try to assist, and perhaps it could be said that he has tried to help before but, not in this state. If he was normal, or as normal as he could be.
Right now is another matter. Unfortunate as it is.]

Panting heavily as she ran down the streets, the girl kept her head high on the lookout for him.

Kaworu, or perhaps he should simply be called by his actual name for now, had lost interest in any conversation quite some time ago. His interest had stayed in picking up the sound of what he had assumed to be a Lilim, something to keep in mind in case they crossed paths. After all, it was that species who stole their mother away and killed his siblings.
For the time-being though the angel remained in his spot, casually eating through beasts which had clearly come from outside the city. A gruesome mess, not that he particularly cared. He was simply in a world of his own for the time-being, temporarily minding his own business.

Biting on her lip, she motioned her head upwards and glanced ahead of her. Off in the distance she could make out a strange shape. She was uncertain how to describe it when she had never seen anything remotely similar. Most people might get the idea of seeing such a creature feasting as a hint to haul ass in the other direction, but instead? She proceeded forward without hesitation.

The angel seemed to sense the other presence from a distance, noting that something had changed in the area with sense which clearly made up for a lack of actual eyes. He couldn't tell who or what it was, frankly he didn't seem to care so much as to the 'what' but more about a 'why'.
Why would someone come into his area? Was it one of the others, someone who assist with this? Or was it someone being far too involved for their own good? Needless to say he moved fairly sharp after a brief moments pause. Taller than his human form had been, without being the towering size of his siblings. One advantage in his mind.

Doing her best to smile, the girl did her best to not look afraid. Speaking up, she reached out a hand up into the air toward him. "Hi. I...I'm not going to be bad or hurt you. I just want to make sure you're going to be okay. I promise I won't get in your way, I'll just stay off in the distance and make sure you're safe."

Hiding fear, acting brave, generally trying to be a good person. Three traits which the girl was clearly showing, three traits which fell onto figurative deaf ears. If it hadn't been obvious before that Kaworu was no longer in control of his own actions, it soon would be.
The angel was far more fixated on the fact that he recognised that voice, the target, being 'kind' was unnecessary. The creature moved slowly at first, stalking nearer as though checking out his options. Food. Hatred. That voice in his head reminding him to be faithful to his siblings. Things which kept him moving closer with a grin on the far less than comforting features.

Not moving an inch as he neared closer, she smiled back at him. With a tilt of her head, she took in his features closely. When she decided to speak again, her voice was as natural as the times she spoken to him over the phone-like device. There was a hint of melancholy to her voice. "...I guess we all have our secrets? Don't we?"
