Conan and Tear
Tear did not make the best impression on Conan. Because he refused to believe in magic and she was insistent on that and kind of hesitant to show him the inn, he was very tense around her. He thought maybe she had ulterior motives because, really, he's a paranoid little bugger, especially when stressed. However, over time, that has faded. He's talked to Tear more and it seems more like she's a more usually introverted person and probably wasn't prepared to deal with a freaked out kid. He's not exactly 'trusting,' of Tear, per say, but he doesn't distrust her. He can see she's an important person to Kaito and Kazuha and so trusts them to have good judgement.
Though this idea is reaffirmed later on both when Tear relents to maybe letting him go into the ruins. More than that, Kaito said she knew his secret and the fact no one else knew said Tear could keep a secret. It also helped when Tear was willing to teach him the Fonic language. It was something he was curious about and anyone who helps his curiosity gets good points in his book.
'Friend' at this point might be too strong of a word, but he likes Tear well enough and he does have some trust in her. More than the normal person, at least. Still, it's a long way from being a real friendship, but there's some possibility there.
Conan and Ayumu
Conan recognizes that Ayumu is intelligent. He's not quite sure HOW intelligent, but there's some in there. He's also a pretty calm guy and maybe it'd be someone he'd like to talk to. Just not about the validity of something since he had accepted the Island was magic and didn't want to dig any further than that. And Conan is all about the digging. So if he ever heard Ayumu was a detective, he'd probably be disappointed in him.
Also, as said on the CR chart, when CONAN thinks you need people skills, you have problems. Considering Conan isn't always the best with people at either age. =| He thinks Ayumu is too stubborn about the less important stuff and not enough for the really important stuff. Not that he's a BAD guy. Just kind of...weird in his priotities, he supposes.
Conan and Asakura
When they first met, she was quite strange. He really didn't get why she thought a BUSH was a good disguise and he was still at the point he didn't believe in magic. However, he also caught on Asakura was a smart girl and seemed to be obersvant enough. Over time, he did realize she was a pretty good journalist type, if a bit...questionable in what she gets excited over. However, he does believe she has a respect for the truth and as long as he doesn't get caught along with any of her schemes, she could be a good person to have as a friend.
It also helps that her open mind does let him act like a 'detective' without her being too suspicious as to why. Being younger also helps calm him because when people are closer to age in him, it's easier for him to manipulate it so they just think he's smarter than he is. The personality type helps as well since he can say she's teasing and act like he thinks she is. Something he'd like to avoid, but he wouldn't be Conan if he wasn't thinking these things through.
It also seems like they could be pretty good friends, since his 'high school self' seemed to consider one more or less. Not quite 'good friend,' but beyond just people he socializes with. Still, he's going to be careful just how much he shows around her so she doesn't suspect too much.
...this may change if he finds out Negi is her teacher cause, really, if ten year old can be her teacher and that's not strange, he could probably convince her he is just eight years old.
Conan on Evatrice
She is crazy. And unstable. She's childish and far too easy about causing serious pain and harm. Not only that, she doesn't seem to have much ability to look ahead which is REALLY worrying. The fact she's Beatrice's successor worries him especially since he's not sure what's up with the Umineko timeline. However, he also doesn't think her quite as...clever as the other witches. Oh, she's still a danger, he won't discount that, but he also thinks she might be someone he could manipulate if he's careful. Of course, he always has to act the child, since that's the plan. It's just something he keeps in mind. The 'weak link' of the evil witches, really.
Conan on Suiseiseki
Annoying. That was his first impression. She was an annoying brat and maybe crazy, though Shinku discounted the crazy bit. At least about the dolls. Might still be a bit crazy. Anyway, he was more than happy to snark back at her because of her brattish behavior. However, things did change a bit when a talk about an optical illusion moved to soul trees. He saw a bit of Suiseiseki's kinder side and saw a girl who was honestly concerned about the well being of people's soul trees. He isn't...quite sure of what to make of the soul trees, but to her, they are vitally important to a person's life and the fact she never wants to see one die says a lot about her. If he saw this side more, he'd probably like her a lot more. For the moment, however, he still sees her as a brat, but at least doesn't think she's a COMPLETE brat and is willing to be a bit nicer to her.
