VJAS

So... this week I spent this week at a science fair... excuse me, let me put it in the words of my research teacher: THE SUPERBOWL OF SCIENCE FAIRS. Anyways, VJAS stands for Virginia Academy of Science and it is pretty much filled with really nerdy kids. The whole trip was pretty much crap... We stayed at Hampton University, which is a pretty campus... until you go inside the buildings. We got to stay in the crap dorms that smelled like a nursing home. The bathrooms were caked with hairs and had holes in the wall. The whole reaosn we went to this thing was to present our projects to judges (so basically a science fair). So it was a two hour and thirty minute trip for fifteen minutes of actual stuff to do. For the rest of that time we had absolutely nothing to do... To make things worse the place we presented and the dining hall was a mile apart... BOO! :( The highlight of the trip was when we went to Burger King and hung out with the workers... THEY WERE FREAKIN' AWESOME! The awards ceremony was two hours long... good God I thought my hands were going to fall off from clapping.

My Award: 2nd Place in Social Psychology (APPROVAL RATINGS OF POST-MODERN PRESIDENTS DURING SCANDALOUS AND DURING NON-SCANDALOUS TIMES)
