Miley/Demi/Selena/Chelsea/Nic are a team of badass superheroines who are a lot more about the small highly-publicizable acts of do-gooding than taking real advantage of their superpowers to fight serious crime.

After Nic & Chelsea criticize this arrangement - it's bullshit, they think, to waste Nic's super-strength and Chelsea's super-speed on rescuing little old ladies from muggers - Miley makes nice with them and then sends them on a mission Omegalomaniac had asked for their help with (she had declined because it was too dangerous with her team's lack of experience & training).

When their secret identities are compromised mid-mission, the girls are rescued by a mild-mannered rock band and kept hidden among the crew. Nicole has her suspicions about just how mild-mannered this rock band is, especially when she catches the lead singer Skyping with someone who looks an awful lot like Alpha Dog, but between watching Chelsea's & the drummer dance around how much they want to bang and trying not to crush too hard on dorky adorable tiny guitar dude, it's easy to get distracted.

Maybe if she hadn't been distracted she would have been better prepared for the day the House of Blues blew up and Panic revealed just how not mild-mannered they are.

And then idk big superhero fight scene and Nicole saves Ian from getting crushed and they win the fight and there is resolution of all the UST \o/

Ian's levitation does things to Nic. She likes leaping up and trying to pull him down. It's a fun game (and she gets this smirk thinking about levitation and bedtime fun)

It turns out for the first week they were hiding out with the band, the guys were sitting on Ian not for fun, but to keep him connected with the ground :)
