this tiny orchid came along for the ride from southern California and is now living in the bathroom, fastened to the shower feed pipe with a twisty tie (the green blob in the background is the resident platycerium which if the weather holds will soon migrate out to the porch for the summer). to give you an idea of scale its leaves are no more than 1½ inches long.
