If you have ever come over to my house and eaten dinner, you know that you can bank on a normal meal just like at any other house. But you're company. And apparently, when there are no guests around, my mom pulls out all the stops, as she did tonight. It's like she gets random suggestions as to what food items should be on the menu. Not unlike a slot machine. Tonight, the slot machine checked in on these three main foods:

1. Pineapple.
2. Meatballs.
3. Grits.

.. .. .... . . ...?

It wasn't a bad meal..I'm not saying it was. But as for sheer continuity's sake of normal relationships between food groups that is usually present during any meal, there was naught. Then she proceeded to offer pumpkin pie for desert. Which, in a stretch, is related to pineapple in that both are somewhere in the vicinity of "fruits and vegetables" (one obviously more than the other).

On a different note, I bought the Arrested Development box set today and that's all I need to say about that. I also bought a new study Bible, which so far looks great even though I haven't had the chance to get into it much yet.

"Go back from whence you came!" And he chucked the frozen dead dove into the sea...
