Chapter 11
“Kyuhyun-ah,” a voice whispered. “Kyuhyun-ah~!” Said girl stirred, her face buried into the pillow and her limbs flung in random directions, a few dangling off of the plain white bed.
Kyuhyun squeaked and hopped out of her bed. She stood up, batman boxers and a tight black tank top on, ready to attack.
“Kyuhyun-ah,” the voice called again. Kyuhyun looked over to the owner of the voice.
“Ah, S-Sungmin. Good morning,” Kyuhyun choked out as she scratched the back of her messy hair.
Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow, “You're already getting ready? What time is it Unnie?” Sungmin shrugged. She was dressed in form fitting, hot pink pajama bottoms decorated with random pink and white hearts and a tight pale pink cami.
“I have no idea, but you better start getting ready, Kyu. It's Christmas, which means we're all heading over to Kibum's dorm to open gifts.” Kyuhyun groaned quietly before nodding. She stretched her arms, grabbed random clothes, and headed off to the shower, trying not to sneak a glance at Sungmin, who was changing in the corner of the room.
“Kyuhyun! Sungmin!” Hyukjae said as she opened the door, letting in the two girls, dozens of bags in their arms. “Took you long enough! Shindong here was about to open everything with you.” Shindong's head snapped up and she glared and the other girl.
“Who was the one trying to sneak a peak in the stockings?” Hyukjae shrugged, a smile on her face.
“What does it matter? There's just sugar free candy in there.” Heechul laughed.
“Maybe in yours,” She wiggled her eyebrows over to Hangeng who immediately blushed. Donghae frowned.
“What're you talking about? What else is in her stocking?” Heechul sighed and rested a hand on Donghae's shoulder.
“You know, Donghae, for someone who's fucked a handful of girls in her life, you sure are innocent.” Donghae growled.
“Let's just open the presents already!” Shindong whined and everyone agreed.
Donghae gave everyone a jar of mayonnaise, claiming it was good for their hair. Siwon, being the most religious one in the group, bought them all day by day calendars that held a different quote for each day. Heechul bought everyone a copy of a Disney movie, claiming they were similar to certain characters. Donghae cried when she wasn't announced as Ariel.
Hyukjae was cheap and got everyone except Donghae a homemade card with a terribly drawn picture of themselves inside. Donghae got a store bought Little Mermaid card.
Kibum gave everyone a book, earning a flurry of groans. Hangeng gave everyone souvenirs from her latest visit to China. Shindong made everyone an assortment of goodies, ranging from cookies to cakes. Zhou Mi had given some Louis Vuitton and Prada bags, bragging that she already had the same one in a different color. Henli had shown up late, her long brown hair covering the majority of her face as she apologized and gave everyone snacks from Canada.
Ryeowook and Yesung passed out their presents, declaring it was from both of them. It was jewelry that that they thought matched the personality of each girl.
“It's Kui Xian's turn!” Zhou Mi giggled, her head resting on Siwon's lap.
“It's nothing great, I didn't know what to get you all,” Kyuhyun mumbled, her long, brown curls doing a poor job of covering her sheepish facial expression. She reached into a bag and brought out small velvet rectangles.
“My mother is dating a jeweler; he says girls our age like things like this.” They opened their boxes.
“Kyuhyun!”
“Oh my god!”
“So pretty!” Ryeowook frowned.
“Why did everyone get silver bracelets with their names in English whilst I got gold hoop earrings with my name?”
“He didn't have any W's, so we improvised. Are they that bad? He said they were popular in America,” Ryeowook pouted.
“Maybe if you're a Mexican girl.”
“Ryeowook! Don't say such things!”
“What? It's true. If I wear these I'll have to go under a whole new persona! A girl me can't wear such things!” Yesung wrapped her arms around the smaller girl.
“Wookie,” she started, but was rudely interrupted by a hand being shoved in her face.
“Sorry Yesung, I don't want no paper gangsta.” Yesung furrowed her eyebrows and looked over at Kyuhyun, who flinched.
“I'm sorry!” She whined, watching Ryeowook whip out eye liner and a mirror from her purse and start applying a thick coat onto her eyebrows.
“...Right,” Sungmin mumbled. “My turn~!” She picked up several bags and took out various stuffed animals from inside. “And a fish for Hae, and an bunny for Wookie,” she walked around the group, giving each girl a different animal. Once she finally made it around the group, she stopped at Kyuhyun and smirked. “And a kanga for Kyu.” She plopped an enormous kangaroo plush onto her lap. It was adorable, Kyuhyun had to admit, but there was one thing that ruined the innocence of the toy.
The kangaroo had fuzzy pink handcuffs on it's arms.
Kyuhyun looked up at Sungmin, who winked at her while flashing a seductive smile.
“Yeah, yeah. They're all just so cute aren't they?” Heechul said, tossing her stuffed cat to the side. “My gifts are all better. You'll thank me later for the eargasm you'll have.” She tossed everyone a CD. All but one were just a few of her favourite Japanese rock bands. Kyuhyun looked at her small hands. An Cafe? Never heard of them.
Suddenly, there was a loud scream. Everyone turned their heads to the Chinese girl holding a CD extremely close to her face, the koala plush tucked under her arm.
“Heechul...” she whispered, “You didn't,” Heechul smirked.
“That's right, all the way from America babe.” Zhou Mi's eyed widened even further and she turned around and tackled the red headed girl.
“Heechul!” She squealed and kissed her on the lips. “I can't believe it!” She kissed her again.
“Yah~!” A pinned-to-the-ground Heechul yelled. “Who gave you permission to do that? Get off!” Zhou Mi laughed and wrapped her arms around the elder girl.
“I don't want to!” Zhou Mi whined. Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow.
“What did unnie get her?” He asked as Hangeng picked up the discarded CD.
“A Lady Gaga CD.” Hangeng answered. Zhou Mi let go of Heechul and flailed her arms about.
“Play it! Play it! I wonder if it has Boys Boys Boys on it!” Zhou Mi giggled.
“I thought you didn't like boys, Mimi?” Shindong asked. The hyper Chinese stuck out her tongue.
“I don't, that's why I replace the word 'boys' for 'girls'!”
