also also, i'm really glad someone besides me who is connected to bandom fell into the abysmal one direction black hole. i tried to just casually like them but soon realized that was next to impossible because, like, their faces.

I've actually seen a ton of 1d people I follow on tumblr mention that they used to be in bandom. one girl I found on a friending meme had been following me there long enough to view my descent into madness firsthand ):

if you haven't already you should join ontd_1d, it's a constant spam party over there and everyone is so nice but if you do your life will literally be over so just be prepared for that.

i discovered one direction during my finals week so my life was pretty much over the second i gave into them. at this point, i'm pretty much just going to embrace it. ten years ago i loved the backstreet boys and now i love one direction. i like to think of it as i haven't changed who i am inside~

and okay, more people from bandom really need to join the 1D party because bandom has so many great writers and so far i'm finding that the 1D fandom is kind of lacking in that department. let's start a campaign. with petitions.

also, i have an entire four months of nothing ahead of me so i will be joining that comm in approx five seconds

it's been pretty much a month exactly since i fell into this black hole and it is taking a toll on my schoolwork, whoops

i've actually found that 1d writers are okay, but it's still a baby fandom really so maybe more good ones will come out of the woodwork in time. i'm still trying to pull onj all the way in... she's reblogged them once and really that's the first step.

YAY that comm is my new favorite. as in sometimes i don't even check my flist and instead go straight to its main page..........

i am so new to this fandom, so i'm still digging for good fics because i don't really know where to look yet. i've definitely found some great ones so far! but i've also found some absolutely horrid ones, ugh.

and she'll come around! i reblogged them once and thought 'i think i may jump on the bandwagon just because they're little hottie mctotties' and then i reblogged a picture of harry and thought 'LIPS' and now i have an entire second tumblr dedicated to them because posting that much about them on my regular tumblr would be scary and embarrassing. basically what i'm saying is: once you reblog 1D your life starts spiraling.

i was rejected by the comm! sadface! i will try again once i have some posts and am ~established, but still, sadface!

i mostly just wanted to spare my followers because i posted something i wrote called "why i like one direction (and you can too! edition)" and i lost like 20 followers even though it was AWESOME so, yeah, hence a side blog.
