Lots going on.

There's so much that has happened in so many areas over this past weekend that I think I'll break it down into multiple posts rather than have one long diatribe on all that is happening.

Class went well last week. Since I had Friday evening off, we went and saw "The Little Mermaid" on Friday evening. It's a very well done musical. Like "The Lion King," the story has been modified somewhat to work on the stage so it's a little different from the movie. The sets are fantastic, the actress who plays Ariel is great, and there's a very creative use of Heely wheeled shoes to simulate swimming. I highly recommend seeing this show. It's off to Broadway shortly so there's very limited time to see it in Denver. I'm glad we caught it though.

Next is "White Christmas" in December when my sister is here. It should be fun.

No flying this weekend, too busy. :( Saturday was the annual fly-in and chili cookoff. I was late getting there because of my violin lesson. When I got there, I talked to Jim and told him about the overhead panel light rehostat getting hot while flying at night. He thinks it can be fixed and is going to get with Don, the guy who's Maul Jim is painting, and work something out. Otherwise, I'll just fly with the lights turned all the way up which is when the rehostat is at its coolest.

I guess that's all for this post, more to come.
