Title: Hey! Say! Band
Pairing: Yaotome Hikaru X Inoo Kei | Yabu Kota X Inoo Kei (more OTP to be revealed)

Summary: Inoo Kei has a crush on Yabu Kota and he's childhood friends with Yaotome Hikaru. One day, Yabu Kota decided to form a band and within the band, there's lots of love problems. Will all the band members, including their adviser be able to have a wonderful love life?
"Good morning, Inoo!" Yabu greeted Inoo enthusiastically.
"Ah... Good morning, Yabu." Inoo greeted back while looking slightly depressed.
"Hmm... Inoo, what's wrong?" Yabu asked Inoo.
"It is not like you to come to school alone so early without Yaotome." He continued.
"I just thought that I should practice harder for our first performance so I came earlier." Inoo answered and smiled at Yabu.

"Yuya!" Yabu exclaimed as he saw Takaki in their practice room. It is not like Yuya to be coming in so early.
"Why are you here?!" Yabu asked as he was in disbelief.
"Yabu! You know who I saw yesterday on my way home?! I saw that short boy from junior high!" Takaki said happily. With that expression on his face, Yabu knew who that short boy was.
"And how does that have to do with you coming early to practice?" Yabu continued asking.
"He was wearing our school uniform!" Takaki still answers Yabu happily with enthusiasm although Yabu isn't used to it. It's great that Takaki got such enthusiasm for practice but it is honestly too much for Inoo in the morning.
"Well, I'll play the keyboard so just sing." Inoo interrupted their conversation as he put down his bag and went over to play the keyboard.
"Then I'll play the guitar." Yabu said and he did the same as Inoo except that he went over to where Yaotome is sitting usually. They started practice without Yaotome.
"Stop! Inoo, you are slightly out of tune today. What's wrong?" Yabu asked after playing the song over a few times and Inoo still didn't realise his mistakes.
"Nothing much... Maybe I was staying up late to complete my homework." Inoo gave excuses. He obviously knows that there’s something weird going on when Yabu was looking at Yaotome with those expressions yesterday. With his action of sitting at Yaotome's seat, it added onto his suspicions.
"Well, let's stop here for now. Lessons are about to start too. Inoo, don't stress yourself too much. Although the performance is next week which is rushed, we can just take it slowly. We can just perform during the Arts Festival next month." Yabu said. He didn't want to stress Inoo too much since Inoo is a precious friend to him.
“No, it’s fine. I’ll practice more and let’s just perform during the school festival.” Inoo gave a small smile. It’s only a week until the performance so rather than using the time to think about useless and distracting things, it’s better to work hard for the performance first.
“I’ll go back to class first.” Inoo left the clubroom, leaving the pair of childhood friends there.

For the past one week, the members had been practicing earnestly. They even arrive early in the morning to school just to have that few hours of practice. Thoughts of Yabu and Yaotome did not once cross Inoo’s mind in which he was glad since he is afraid that it will cause him to be distracted once again.
“Your performance will be tomorrow so rest well tonight and don’t think too much.” Okamoto told the members after they finished their last rehearsal. All of the members have tired looks plastered on their face and clearly, today’s rest is something that is definitely needed for them.
“Okay.” The boys replied. Yabu then spoke up, wanting to encourage the members.
“We practiced a lot already so let’s just give it our all tomorrow!” Yabu grinned widely. He could see that a smile was plastered on all of their faces, making him glad that he did his small speech.
“And Yabu will treat us to dinner if the performance succeeds!” Takaki sling his arm over Yabu and cheered along with Inoo while the older boy gave a loud sigh.
