Perceptional Fantasmus
Order skewed with order's laws
Creativity blooming amid a chaotic splendor
Colors and sounds and light and shadows mixed into a tale of the heart's fantasy
Defying all descriptions with denials of the dignity.
Gardens of a thousand flowers intertwined with a thousand stems and twisted into the oblivion,
Immersed in the beauty of abnormal disquietations,
Wonder of all imaginings.
Laughing at logic’s idiocrities,
Circles spinning into swirls of squares
Disputed bubbles amid stories of the refined.
Love and hate and emotional disruptions of serenity and solitude
Despiteful greed spilling demolition across sun soaked water falls
Fountains of air and ruin escaping to
Valleys of giants eternally bond to dwarfed mountains.
Familiarity meeting its foreign brother of neverness,
Sideways smiles and upside right grins
The west of the east and the south of the north
Lost amid dreams and visions, illusions of being and expectancy,
Skills of tears dismantling the purge
Mixtures slide into explosions of sensual exposition
Spines poke through the cloth of reason,
Sew the seeds of creation’s wake
Break the mold.
Danny asked me if he would ever get to read any of the poems I sporatically write. I'm pretty secretive about my writing, so it's a valid question. Only one other person besides myself has read all of what I've written for my novel. It's just a habit of mine, write something show it to one or two people and then never mention it again. So here is my big step in sharing things that occur to me; something I rarely do. I just keep thoughts to myself most of the time. I don't know if I am just totally lacking in opinions or am cripplingly shy about the ones I do have, but my inner observations remain inner. This one escaped. Rawr.
So...this spawned from an interesting conversation I had with Kris when I asked what his problem with randomness was. I came to the conclusion that my mind was some chaotic realm of fantasy that defied all description. Then a whole bunch of random phrases began popping into my head and I wrote them down in a chaotic order. The entire page is covered in those words, several of them are written sideways so I could fit them. I spent the downtime in band putting them in a semi-understandable sequence. And then this was born! Yay!
