New doctor, new diagnosis...

It's amazing just how different two people can interpret the same information.

For example, doctor number 1 said that I should have sinus surgery immediately, that it wouldn't be a complicated surgery and I could go back to school after three days. He also said my headaches are probably due to the sinus issues.

Doctor number 2 says there is no indication of any sinus problems at all. Instead he thinks my adenoids and tonsils are too big and should be taken out, but not any time soon, since I would miss lots of school. There is not a chance my headaches are caused by sinus problems because I simply don't have any... Plus, his philosophy is, "well you've lived with a blocked nose for 19 years so why bother changing it, what's the rush"
(only that it's making me uncomfortable and, hello, I can't breathe...not like thats a medical issue or anything)

So I went from having surgery scheduled this upcoming week to looking at a totally different type of surgery which wouldn't happen until next summer at the earliest.

Instead I have to go for a sleep study test, which is where you spend the night over at a clinic and they hook you up to all these machines, because doctor number 2 says he thinks I have sleep apnea.
Once they find that out, then I will have to do all sorts of other things until I finally get the surgery I have been waiting 19 years to have....

In the meantime, doctor number 2 suggested I see a neurologist so I can see if there is something wrong with my brain.

So the diagnosis comes down to this... nothing is wrong that wasn't wrong my entire life and anything unusual that I am experiencing is in my head.

I can't wait until my head decides it's bored fucking with me and just decides to fix everything itself.
