Happy I'm Not A Fucking Idiot Day
As of an hour and a half ago Valentines Day was finally over and I'm Not A Fucking Idiot day is here. When I wake up I will celebrate the holiday in its traditional fashion by buying half priced chocolates. I would buy flowers that are at a reasonable price but I really don't have anyone to give them to and I don't really care for flowers at all.
I had an unusually unpleasant Valentines Day, I've never been a big fan, regardless of having a "special someone" or not, but this one was especially less than good. Yesterday my Grandpa collapsed at his house. Last night I was told that he was in the hospital. He was hooked up to a ventilator and unresponsive. Today they decided that he would be taken off. I was on my way down (passing through Beloit) when I got the call that he had died.
Now I'm in middle of nowhere Illinois (sometimes refered to as Galesburg).
Fuck Valentines Day.
But on the plus side, Gein released the Skinsuit Sessions Volume 666 so I guess things aren't all bad.
