Like most holidays, it is hard to decipher a practical point... though if I were to hazard a guess, I would say that it helps with a feeling of unity between romantic couples. It's quite sweet.

Ah, well... I admit I cannot find rhyme nor reason as to explain why... except that perhaps it is simply a kind thing. Holidays are lovely all the same, wouldn't you agree?
