Warnings: Talk of death?
Dream Effects: Whatever Roxas feels throughout the dream basically

A graveyard. A rather simple looking place if you had to call it something, they all tend to look the same. That's what he was told at least, he was still new to a lot of things so he didn't really argue with it and just accepted it as it was.

Still, what caught Roxas's attention was the group of people that were huddled around one grave in particular. They were playing some kind of music as well. Not only that but they were all crying, all wearing black clothing. Roxas merely stood at the sidelines wondering what was going on.

"Yo, I was wondering where you wandered off to." said a familiar voice of a certain red head as he appeared from a portal.

"...Axel."

"Oh, a funeral huh?" responded Axel, just now taking in where Roxas was at and what was happening.

"'Funeral'?"

"Yeah, it means someone died."

"What do you mean 'died'?"

The red head looked down at him in confusion before remembering that he was still new. He adapted a thinking pose as he tried to explain it in a easy way for him to understand. "Well, pretty much their hearts stopped beating for good."

"So why are people crying?"

"Probably because it's sad."

"So 'dying' is 'sad'?"

"Yeah, especially if it was someone important to them I guess."

"... I don't really get it." he replied still looking as confused and troubled as ever.

"Don't worry about it!" he said with a grin as he patted Roxas on the head teasingly, "you're still new to all this so you don't have to understand it all at once. In our terms dying would be a lot like disappearing."

"... So," Roxas trailed off before a bit of a smile fitted his face at a sudden realization, "If we disappear then someone will be sad for us?"

"..." Axel merely stared at Roxas, playfulness now gone as a serious look made its way on his face, "I doubt it."

"Why?"

"We're things that aren't supposed to exist, Nobodies." he sighed as he felt like he had to explain this whole thing to him again, "If we don't have hearts how can we feel sad?" he paused letting it sink in before moving on as if this was normal, "Even if we disappear, no one would think anything of it."

With that Axel looked back at the grave in which people were starting to leave. It seemed that the funeral was over with and the skies were turning dark with rain clouds. Roxas just stood there staring at the grave that had so much attention until just a few moments ago. A troubled yet almost sad look fit his face.

"... I don't get it."

[Roxas slowly wakes up feeling...oddly how he used to be when he was still new to everything. It wasn't the most pleasant feeling if you had to call it anything as if was almost...nothing. An empty feeling...

He sits up and shakes his head of those thoughts and immediately turns his Dreamberry off]
