"Hey, Roxas! Stopping staring off into space."
At that Roxas, looked up to see a tall man with spiky, long, red hair. The scenery looked to be one on top of a clock tower, just as the sun was setting in a place it never truly rests. Twilight Town; a place where light and dark seem to co-exist yet at the same time don't, leaving only emptiness and those living in between behind.
"I wasn't staring off into space. Just...thinking.", he said, legs up to his chest while he rested his head in his arms.
"Right. If that makes you feel better.", the man said with as a snide yet playful remark. Though, Roxas was too into thought to really retort like he normally would have. The red head seemed to notice this, but didn't say anything. Instead he pulled out two ice cream bars shoving one right in front of Roxas's face. "Here."
He stared in surprise, before smiling while uncurling from his position to just sitting normally on the ledge. "Thanks.", Roxas said lightly as he took the ice cream from him. This was a ritual of theirs, they did it everyday after a mission.
Roxas took a bite as he relished in the flavor of Sea-salt ice cream. At that point, he had already forgotten what it was he was thinking about. The blond simply wanted to enjoy the moment, or as much as a Nobody could.
As they both finished their treats, the redhead leaned back against the wall, arms behind his head seemingly resting his eyes. Roxas, put the stick left from the popsicle up to where he could read what was on it.
Winner, was what was written on it. Confused, he tried taking a closer look only to see that the stick fade into a blue, round-shaped gem of sorts. A look of shock crossed his face as he lifted it up to the ever setting sun to see the most beautiful glint ever. The way the fading light of the sun shined off the gem as it revealed a deep blue world when you looked through it.
Lowering his hand though, he let it drop from his grasp as the gem split into the Winner stick, falling along side it. He knew he could never go back to those nice times with the Twilight gang, as well as those fun, carefree times with Axel.
[awakening, he sat up with a smile filled with sorrow lit his face, oblivious to his Dreamberry turned on]
