Tajomaru cosplay update #1
Went thrift-shopping with Beth today to try and find goodies for my Tajomaru cosplay.
Apparently today was an epic day for cosplay thrift-shopping...costume is 1/3 to 1/2 completed.
I spent a little more than I planned, but also found more than I had expected to.
I've got brown and grey fur, the pants, "chainmail" for the shirt and gauntlets (I'm faking it for comfort purposes), the obi/belt (had fabric to use for this at home already). The brown fur is actually a fur stole that Beth said she'll buy from me once the con is over, fortunately I can use it without having to cut it up or anything.
Also, found a great set of Japanese-style tableware, and the first book in the "Ouran High School Host Club" manga series. Woot!

Wanted to add pics now, but the camera is nowhere to be found. Might be with my Mom, who knows.
Also, got into a silly dispute with a friend regarding cosplay. She is sorely mistaken that only animated/comic book characters count as "cosplay" and live-action characters are "just dressing up"...WTH does she think cosplay is??? Lmao. Ah well.
