He escaped before I could finish him off.

[Right now he's a little more preoccupied with the fact that this stupid backwards world doesn't have hemostatic dressings and he's trying to patch himself up with gauze, which isn't doing all that much to stop the bleeding. He's got the upper half of his armor off, revealing numerous deep gashes on his chest, stomach and arms, one of which he's currently trying to bandage rather awkwardly.]

[She runs a hand through her hair with exasperation.]

You're not going back to finish him until I'm done with you. Stay right there.

[No problems there, he needs to get that bleeding stopped before he can go anywhere. Blood loss makes regular activities just a little bit difficult.]

[She comes back out with her staff, some bandages, and a wet cloth, then sits down to get to work on healing him.]

[Ohh no. No you don't, not after what you pulled during the bodyswap. He'll grab the staff and force it down till it's pointed at the floor.]

The only healers in this house are myself and a little girl. Do you really want her to see this?

I can take care of this by myself.

[He's even more snappish than usual thanks to a combination of pain and anger. As if to emphasize his point, he'll pull the gauze a little tighter around the wound he's currently bandaging.]

And are you going to clean up the floor afterward? You're making a giant mess.
