No, it's not true. Don't take his offer... the one you're wanting to bring back will be a machine with their soul in it, under the Earl's control. They'll hate that they were brought back, they'll kill you and take your body, then the two of you'll be a creature called an Akuma. It's what we Exorcists fight to free the souls again.
