It's pretty clear that no matter where you are, you can see Mt. Hood in the distance. I never really cared about the grandness of mountains before, not even when I lived in Italy and could barely make out Mt. Vesuvius through the sulfur-smog. Not even when I was on top of Mt. Vesuvius looking down at the clouds. Obviously, Mt. Hood has nothing on Mt. V, but it sure is grand!
