Errr, where are you located? IKEA is an awesome store! Home furnishings and stuff at great prices... The greatest shopping experience ever (tons of little apartments set up in a "show room," a nice cafeteria with like 99ct breakfast and $4 dinner... Google it! I find it to be beautiful!

Ohhh, no. I don't have an IKEA up here either... I usually drive 7 hours to Minneapolis (across the street from the Mall of America) to go to IKEA. The one in Michigan is 13 hours away, and a lot smaller. IKEA's are in "special" places. Like, big cities only :(. I'm pumped to be able to get furniture in town, and not have to haul it 3 states over to get back to my house!

You have never heard of IKEA.

*is ded*

How can you not have heard of IKEA???

I think nobody in Europe would have furniture if not for IKEA. They are cheap, quality id pretty good, the furniture comes in flat packs and you assemble yourself at home. It´s a Swedish company and the design is mostly awesome.

Hahaha, I actually prefer most of my furniture to come from elsewhere. Not a great fan of most sofas/desks/chairs/beds they have.

But knick-knacks, the occasional shelf, lamps, storage boxes for toys, laundry baskets... IKEA is gold for all that!

I don´t like their sofas, either but my first 'grown up' bed was a shaker-style four poster from IKEA and I still love it dearly. My parents use it now because my mum needs something to hold on to when hauling herself up since her hip surgery.

Do you also always spend way more money than you intent to at IKEA?

I love our bed that we got from a national chain. The bottom is kinda falling out of it, though, so may have to get a new one soonish. XD

And YES I DO. They have all these small things, like... plastic clips to keep bags closed. Towels. Dishes. Cups, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, bowls etc. A billion different storage options. Napkins. Bedding. Hooks. Tools. Even toys. X_X

I go into IKEA expecting to buy a desk I saw in the catalog or online. I end up making multiple trips to the car with all the OTHER stuff I buy. I've never gone there and spent less than $200... But nothing I've gotten there is junk, and has been either gifted, or used extensively!

So many things, such low prices. Glasses and mugs for $0.59? I'm on it.

Hm, not sure whether they have recliners but I am sure you could find a nice kitchen table.

They do deliveries, at least here, don´t know whether they would ship out of state...
