When the Wonder Girls go on Kiss the Radio to promote their new single, Eunhyuk doesn't think much of it - it's not like he hasn't met them before. When they arrive though, he feels as if something is different and he can't pinpoint what.
When the girls start singing So Hot, and Yoobin is singing, dancing along to everyone else's parts, his eyes can't help but be drawn to her. And then she starts rapping about all the boys wanting her and -
"You're staring," Eeteuk whispers softly beside him, obviously stifling a giggle.
And surely, all the boys are wanting her, Eunhyuk thinks, even as he feels the blush creep to his cheeks and he quickly switches to looking at the computer screen.

"Unnie," Ye-eun whispers to Yoobin conspiratorially, "did he get your number?"
"Huh? Who?" Yoobin asks, genuinely confused.
"Eunhyuk-ssi!" Ye-eun says in a tone that clearly meant to say DUH.
"What? What?!" Sunmi says from the seat behind. "I thought Yoobin-unnie and Seunghyun-oppa had a thing! What about Eunhyuk-ssi?"
"He obviously likes unnie," Sunye says matter-of-factly, Ye-eun nodding vigorously in agreement.
"You guys are obviously imagining things," Yoobin says, laughing them off.
"Oh wow, unnie, now I think you like him too," Ye-eun smiles knowingly, elbowing Yoobin's side.
"Like I said, imagining things," Yoobin laughs.
"I don't know, I think Ye-eun-unnie is pretty sharp about these things," Sohee suddenly pipes in.
"Right? Right?!" Ye-eun exclaims triumphantly.
"Ugh," Yoobin groans, "not you too, Sohee."
Yoobin sighs as she thinks sometimes these girls forget she's still the oldest.

"I can't believe you didn't ask for her number!" Eeteuk exclaims.
"Was I supposed to?" Eunhyuk asks.
"Well, you obviously like her," Eeteuk points out.
"She's not my type, hung," Eunhyuk mutters.
"I wouldn't have figured her to be your type either, actually," Eeteuk muses. "But don't think for a second I'll buy your denial. I've known you for far too long."
"Whatever, hyung," Eunhyuk mutters, and really kind of hates how easily he blushes.
"I got Sunye-ssi's number though, I can ask for you," Eeteuk grins.
"No thanks, hyung, I can handle girls on my own, thank you very much," Eunhyuk says, knowing full well that if even just Eeteuk got involved, then surely all of Super Junior (even the ones in China, probably, knowing his bandmates) will get involved. And he definitely did not need Heechul, of all people, breathing tips on how to woo girls down his neck.
"Your loss," Eeteuk shrugs, and Eunhyuk wonders why his bandmates tease him about getting numbers from their female guests on the show when that's obviously Eeteuk's gimmick.
And besides, it's not like her likes her likes her. He just happens to think she's kind of hot. It's probably even just the song, too. Right, the song. So, so hot, hot.

"Unnie, did you hear, we're going to be on a show with Super Junior again," Ye-eun chirps, far too perky for Yoobin's taste.
"So?" Yoobin deadpans.
Ye-eun just grins at her knowingly.
"Yah!! Respect your elder!" Yoobin laughs, pinching Ye-eun's cheeks.
"What did I do? I'm just telling you about doing a show with Super Junior again!" Ye-eun grins knowingly.
Yoobin rolls her eyes, even though she's smiling. She can't believe her band mates still refuse to let it go. And okay, maybe Eunhyuk-ssi is kind of cute, in a fail dorky way, but he just isn't her type, really. After all, she likes her men sure and confident and tall, dark and handsome, and sometimes (times like this), she does wonder why nothing ever happened between her and Seunghyun, that now she's actually considering a crush on Super Junior's Eunhyuk.
No, wait, scratch that, cause she most definitely is not considering him. He's just cute, is all.

He knows this dance by heart, he's danced it so many times before after all, through his trainee years and even after, during practice sessions. He might even be something of a H.O.T. fanboy after all, if he puts all things in consideration, but never mind that, see the point is he knows this dance by heart.
He doesn't know why he feels such need to impress her with this dance of all things, he just needs to.
And then he can't even look at her when he holds the rose out towards her. He makes a crack about her elbows looking like Son Yejin's therefore making it seem like it isn't really a big deal, but he can't look at her straight on because he feels like it would give away something. And then when she offers it back, he feels that even the tips of his ears must be red. At least until Go Youngwook offers his rose to her too, cause then he doesn't notice anything except the exaggerated pounding of his heart.
He has no idea why her decision is so important when it's only for a show, nothing for real.

When she chooses him, and takes his rose and makes some lame excuse about not having chosen Go Youngwook because the show still needs an emcee, she can't bring herself to look at Ye-eun, or actually at any of the other girls, because she knows they all have knowing smiles on their faces.
She thinks she's blushing again again when he starts dancing again as back-up for Eeteuk's Candy, and this is definitely one of those times she's glad for her complexion cause at least the blush won't be too visible (or at least she hopes it isn't), and she doesn't know why because all he's really doing is looking like an idiot. A small voice at the back of her head tells her this is really just because she's remembering all the videos of him dancing she secretly watched on the internet when all the other members were already asleep. (Or at least she thought they were, apparently Ye-eun wasn't, and it didn't really help her case that they shared a room.)
She can hear her heart pounding when he lightly takes hold of her arm so they can stand next to each other when Eeteuk announces them as the Eunhyuk-Yoobin couple, and really, why she's even remotely attracted to him is still a mystery to her.

Standing next to her, Eunhyuk feels like he should say something, except he's tongue-tied and he thinks that whatever comes out of his mouth will probably be just gibberish of sorts.

When they shoot for episode teasers as couples, and they have to make faces at the camera, he's giving it all and Yoobin can't even look directly ahead. She doesn't know if it's because she's majorly embarrassed by her partner, or if it's because she finds him utterly adorable.
And then there's a break between couple selection and couple games and (as expected) Ye-eun corners her after they change clothes.
"Unnie, you make a really cute couple!" Ye-eun teases.
"Aish!" Yoobin groans. "Mind your own business and take care of Jang Dongmin-ssi instead, okay."

As if it isn't enough that Eeteuk is giving him a hard time about his crush on Wonder Girls' rapper, the rest of his bandmates just have to butt in. Shindong wiggles his eyebrows at him, Sungmin winks at him (in encouragement, he supposes), and even Yesung gives him a knowing smirk.
Really now, can't he even like a girl in peace?
Apparently not, because Eeteuk goes all out, teasing him in front of the camera. Eunhyuk doesn't know what to say or do when Yoobin suppresses laughter when Eeteuk refers to them as the "sexy couple." He thinks he just wants to disappear on the spot, and then the emcees ask to hear a bit of rapping from each of them, and Yoobin does it again, singing about all the boys wanting her, and even as he feebly tries to rap along, Eunhyuk starts thinking about how damn, she's got rhythm, and rhyme and she's still so, so hot, hot.
So obviously, he isn't thinking straight when he starts rapping about rice and soup, and also, of course Eeteuk calls him out on it, looking at him like he really doesn't know how to impress a girl.
"But it's our song," he answers lamely.
Eeteuk looks at him pointedly and orders him to just sing something else, so he raps his U part instead and Eeteuk smiles at him as if to say, there, fixed, what would you do without me?
He isn't minding Eeteuk anymore though, because Yoobin is kind of smiling at him encouragingly and he feels his heartbeat picking up it's pace again.

Yoobin is still torn somewhere between feeling embarrassed and feeling a little giddy, which is weird since neither are emotions she's entirely familiar with.

Shindong and Sunmi are holding hands, Sungmin even has an arm around Sunye's shoulders, and hell, even Jang Dongmin has his hand clasped tightly around Ye-eun's, and Eunhyuk wonders if maybe he could (should?) take hold of Yoobin's hand as well, but his palms are sweaty and he's sure that has got to be a major turn-off.
Halfway through the game he finally manages to gather the courage to hold her hand, and he almost lets out a huge sigh of relief when she doesn't flinch and just holds his hand right back. It's such a trivial thing, but he feels glad anyway.
When they get temporarily eliminated from the game, he even manages to actually make small talk, which might not seem much to others (his band mates are probably going to laugh at him if they knew how proud he felt of having been able to do just that) but it's something to him. When he manages to sort of make her laugh, he feels so proud of himself.

He approaches her after the shoot, and she breaks into an awkward smile which she inwardly scolds herself for (she is Kim Yoobin after all, dammit, she's beautiful and hot and she does not fall all over herself for a boy, especially a boy like Super Junior's Eunhyuk).
"Today was nice," he grins at her, and okay he might not be tall, dark and handsome, but Yoobin thinks that smile should be enough to make up for all three qualities.
"It was!" she agrees. "Too bad we lost, though."
"Yeah," he laughs.
It might just be her imagination but it seems like a nervous laugh, and maybe that's where she gets the courage to punch him lightly on his right shoulder as she says, "We'll do better next time."
"Yeah, next time," Eunhyuk answers never taking off the huge smile on his face. "Well, see you later, I guess."
"Yeah, later." Yoobin says, turning to catch up with the rest of her group mates.

"MAN, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU STILL DIDN'T ASK FOR HER NUMBER AFTER THAT!"
Eunhyuk recoils a bit, the laughing shrieks of his best friend almost enough to turn him deaf. Times like this he wonders why he's supposed to be happy that Dong Bang Shin Ki is back in Korea when all it means is more opportunities for Junsu to verbally abuse him.
"Shut up," he mumbles. "I was going to, okay, but then-"
"But then what?" Junsu laughs. "She what? She smiled at you and you forgot everything else?"
Eunhyuk's silence was enough to send Junsu in another round of giggle-fits.
"God, Hyukjae, you are such a sap!! This is why you fail so hard with girls! Dude, you know I love you but sometimes I think you're just so hopeless."
"Shut up, okay, or do you really want to bring up years of your own experience with girls?" Eunhyuk shoots back.
"Okay, I'm sorry," Junsu says, trying to calm down from his laughing fit. "So what now?"
"That's just it I don't know," Eunhyuk mumbles. "This whole thing is so awkward."
"Just ask Jungsu-hyung for her number, you dumbass," Junsu rolls his eyes, still trying to bite back laughter.

"This is depressing, unnie," Ye-eun shakes her head.
"What is?" Yoobin asks.
"You still not having Eunhyuk-ssi's number," Ye-eun says, slowly breaking into a smile.
Yoobin raises an eyebrow, "I know that smile. What are you up to?"
"Well clearly this problem needs to be remedied, don't you agree?" Ye-eun says playfully, waving Yoobin's mobile phone right in front of her face.
"Yah! How did you get a hold of that you sneak!" Yoobin exclaims laughing as she tries to snatch the phone from the other girl.

Eunhyuk almost chokes on his saliva when he opens the latest message on his phone.

He quickly dials the number on the screen (he doesn't know why he doesn't just message back, it's just that calling is the first thing that comes to mind, and he keeps telling himself that it's not because he wants to hear her voice), and a harassed-sounding Yoobin answers the other line.
"Hello?" she says. "Eunhyuk-ssi? I'm so sorry, I didn't really send that."
"Oh. Oh, okay?" Eunhyuk says, a little confused.
"That was just Ye-eun, playing tricks. I'm really sorry," Yoobin says.
"Oh, it's okay," Eunhyuk says, and he's silently berating himself for suddenly having a vocabulary that consisted only of "oh" and okay."
There's some silence, until Eunhyuk speaks up again, "Well, okay then."
"I'm really really sorry."
"No, no, it's fine. But, um," Eunhyuk bites his lip.
"Hmm?"
"You don't mind if I keep your number, do you?"

Yoobin almost chokes on the cookie she's eating when Eunhyuk asks to keep her number on his phone. Who actually does that? He already has it, why does he have to even ask?! Although she has to admit, it's kind of endearing.
She knows she's smiling even though she's trying her hardest to frown at Ye-eun who has a proud look on her face, like she means to say oh unnie, what would you do without me?
"Uh, sure," she says on the phone, still trying to suppress her smile even though she knows it's too late. "Of course, you can."

Later that night, Eunhyuk is staring at his phone, wondering if the rules will allow him to message her already, or if that's breaking something, and sometimes he thinks he has to agree with his friends when they tell him he really just doesn't know what to do with girls.
He sighs as he begins pressing the keys. If he fails again, it's not like any of his band mates will find out after all.

Yoobin smiles as she reads the message that just came through her phone:
yoobin-ssi~ how are you doing?
of course i will remember u well.
She feels like a giddy little girl, and it's been so long since she's had a crush like this (she's Yoobin after all, and it's the boys that go chasing after her, not the other way around), but she thinks it feels kind of nice as she composes a reply of her own.
