The air is filled with coughing as the boy pushes himself out of the bed that's now his. It's not the one he's used to, the one with the blanket his mother made for him when he was even younger. But that's all gone now. He whimpers as he walks on over to the other bed, reaching for a hand. He's plagued by nightmares lately, and now he simply wants to forget it all--even though his lungs ache and his eyes sting with tears.
"Terra... Terra, wake up..." he whispers, tugging at his brother's hand to wake him.
