Many cycles had gone by since anyone by the name of Tron had walked the city streets alongside the creator and the new administrative program--why hadn't they learned their lesson after the MCP was beyond the mute--but a new program took his place. Well, maybe not new, but still... The implications were rather large and the toll was a steep one at that ( ... )

She skids to a halt. What the--!?

That trail is dangerous. She knows that much from her own turn on the Light Cycle game. But that doesn't keep her from glaring at the other. In seconds, sensing the danger of the situation, she summons her Keyblade. It's changed with the world this time, black and pale, glowing blue--nearly white. She's already in a fighting stance, preparing to fight her way through.

"Where's Tron!?" she demands, wanting to clear this up without any more violence. ...Like that will happen.

The lightcycle disappears in a series of red-orange lights as he places the stick back together and reattaches it to his leg. That key...

He shakes it off, reaching behind his back and showing off the one moniker that stayed with him since before he could ever recall. Rinzler pulls off the identity disk from his back and separates it into two before shifting into a fighting stance of his own. The disks roar to life; bright orange. A pity he cannot remember-

The program only growls; it cannot answer, only follow orders.

No answer. At least it put away the cycle. That's good. Still...

"I don't want to hurt you. Listen, if you just take me to Tron, we can clear this up. I'm a friend of his," she pleads, trying to stop a fight from happening. She could likely wipe the floor with him, if he's anything like the guys she just fought. But something tells her, as she looks at those discs, that he's not anything like them.

And that 'gut instinct' would be correct.

Hurt... Tron. This girl was persistent in her requests, to say the least. But he has his orders, and he must follow them as he was programmed. Friend of some program or not. Another growl, and one of those disks is headed right for her head.

The change is immediate. With that disc spinning toward her, Sora's entire demeanor changes. She rolls forward, under the weapon, and then is on her feet again in seconds. She darts forward, aiming a slash across his abdomen. Meant to disable and not cause too much harm. She's done enough damage.

He notes that change, but doesn't seem very effected by it. With one disk in his hand he jumps out of the way of that slash, spinning in the air before landing just out of reach of the blade yet maintaining that closeness.

The glow reflects in his helmet as he sends the second disk out in a slash as the first flies back toward his free hand.

He's acrobatic. That's something she's going to have trouble with. He's just out of reach, so it doesn't take too much to use her own momentum from the slash to spin around and bring the blade upward in an attempt to disarm him by meeting his disc and forcing it upward.

...Except she forgot the other disk, which grazes over her shoulder. Luckily, she'd moved enough that it hadn't actually done anything besides cut through her suit. It's still a close call, though. One she doesn't want repeating.

Just a bit- alright, more than a bit. He's not as stiff as another; the old-

The fighting style is similar to something he cannot place a finger on, but he doesn't let it phase him just yet. There's a bit of satisfaction as he grasps one disk though it's dampened by the fact that the other has been knocked out of his hand.

He takes the advantage, though: Rinzler spins, both in an attempt to grab the disk before it's out of reach and to kick the girl in the side.

...Okay, she had expected him to be fast, and she'd found him to be acrobatic. But flexible isn't something she thought of. That kick connects firmly in her side, and pushes her back onto her rear.

"Oof!"

That kinda hurt, and she casts a quick Cure spell while she can. Best to catch it before it bruises and hinders her movement.

Well that was foolish of her. After all, flexibility and acrobatics go hand in hand. Programs would never make that grave an error...

And just as quickly, he's on top of her, one disk at her throat; so close she can probably feel the heat on her skin. But his orders were to capture her alive. And alive she would be--

What was that?

He tilts his head to the sight of where he sliced her arm. It should have shown a few bits of data, but instead there was a cut and... there was blood dripping from the almost healed wound. The responding voice was barely above a whisper; if anyone else was around, they wouldn't hear it. Only the girl beneath him would hear the all- too familiar voice of this shell.

"User..."

His first mistake, partially relenting and pulling the first disk away from her neck ever slightly.

He's on her in seconds. Okay, healing then was a bad idea. But his reaction to her blood--

That voice. She'd recognize it anywhere. It's slightly different--empty--but it's still his. And she's shocked, absolutely shocked, at who it is.

"Tron!?"

He gives her an opening. With the disc no longer at her neck, she can push her knee up into his gut and then use hands in an attempt to push him off. Physical attacks aren't working. Maybe magic will do the job, but first, she needs him off.

He blinks, surprised. Why did that name seem even more familiar, alongside that voice--

Rinzler doesn't get the chance to even contemplate it, for his mistake cost him the immediate capture. He flinches, getting off of her and rolling to a crouching position with a hand over his abdomen. Ouch. Females really did have better lower body strength.

It was already blown, silly Tronzler. namedforthesky April 11 2011, 10:56:03 UTC
She scrambles back and up, Keyblade in hand again. It's held in a defensive position, though, because she's not planning on doing any fighting at the moment. She's genuinely hurting inside, because she's fighting a friend.

"Tron... what happened to you...?"

Well, he didn't know that. xD repurfection April 11 2011, 11:00:12 UTC
He can't answer that, because he sincerely doesn't know what she's talking about. Why was she calling him Tron, and why did she seem visibly upset? The User was a pile of riddles to him; ones he didn't comprehend.

In his confusion, he prepares to send a disk flying at her once more.

HE DOES NOW. namedforthesky April 11 2011, 11:03:43 UTC
"I'm sorry!"

She can't let him attack again. She squeezes her eyes shut, raising the Keyblade. But what happens probably isn't what he's expecting. He'll receive an electric shock to the system, a Thunder spell meant to knock him out for a little while. Hopefully.
