Summary: Kangin forced Eeteuk to be his girl, just what was that mean?
“Hyung, hyung, hyung, hyung! Is that true? You will bring your girlfriend tomorrow at party?”
Kangin groaned hearing those calls, “Can you just call me once? Since when did you say those repeated words like Sungmin? And the most freaking thing is you said it together like an encore, EunHae,”
A small person pouted in the corner of the class and hugged his bunny doll, “What’s wrong with repeating words? And they follow me because they simply adore my cuteness ~” Sungmin asked his bunny doll, “Right, right?”
“Shut up, you annoy me!” Kangin pressed his hand on his forehead.
Yesung gave him a sarcastic snort. “He is pretty but he is not a girl,”
“What?!” Eunhyuk and Donghae gasped together, “So you will follow our path, Hyung?” they said in unison, gaining a scowl from Kangin.
“You two don’t even twin but you act like you have telepathies, creepy,” he commented and glance to them.
“Because we’re connected by love~” they said happily.
“No other man beside me, right Hae?” Eunhyuk took the younger hands and kissed it gently.
“Of course Hyukjae,” he smiled sweetly to his lover. The view made Kangin want to puke.
“Say, is that the man who make you kick me out as your roomate and instead stay in his dorm?” Yesung said grudgingly.
Kangin slung his hand to his bestfriend, “Oh, come on, are you still angry because of that?”
“Of course I’m mad! You’d rather chose him than me. I’m alone with ddangkoma!”
“Love triangle!” Eunhyuk and Donghae accused them together.
“Crazy,” Kangin gave them glareful look and grin to his best friend, “Then I just need to arrange new roomate for you right?”
“Oh, Jesus,” Siwon only prayed hearing chaos in his class.
---
Should I tell them, or shouldn’t I?
“Teukie, what’s wrong?” Hankyung patted the older shoulder when he saw his best friend passed by his class. “Did something happen?” he asked worriedly.
Eeteuk shook his head, his dimple smile showed on his face. “I’m just sleepy, Hannie,” he replied casually.
“What are you thinking, Hyung?” Kyuhyun popped up behind them, gaining shock from Hankyung.
“Kyuhyun-nie, are you a ninja?!” Hankyung barely said it as he put his hand on his frantic chest.
“Your sensory system decreasing with age,”
Hankyung smacked the magnae shoulder. “That’s not the right way to talk to your hyung, kiddo,”
The magnae pouted his lips. Hankyung words hit the spot perfectly. “I’m not kiddo,” and he turned his head to Eeteuk. His president didn’t even raised his voice or stop their little argument. He just walked silently to his favorite maple tree. He seemed busy with his own thought. The two exchanged the confused look and followed him.
“Eeteuk, what’s wrong? You looked pale,” Hankyung sat down beside him and Kyuhyun sat cross legged before them both.
Eeteuk contemplated for a moment then asked, “Am I that pretty?” making the Chinese man silent instantly and burst in to laugh.
“What is that, Teukie?” Hankyung held his stomach that hurt from laughing, meanwhile his hand swung to the older forehead, “Are you having fever?”
Eeteuk shoved Hankyung’s hand, “I’m serious here!’ he gave him a deadly glare.
“You’re prettier than any other girl I ever meet and the fact is, you even won first place in Pretty Boy Contest in our school,” Kyuhyun didn’t look at him instead played his PSP skillfully.
“Don’t remind me of that,” Eeteuk growled and closed his face with his hands, fully embarrassed.
“I only said matter of fact-ly, you asked me to,” Kyuhyun didn’t leave his eyes away from his portable game
“That the stupidest contest I ever attended… and it was because someone register my name without me knowing it,” Eeteuk murmured, talking to himself, didn’t aware that Hankyung and Kyuhyun suppressed their laugh.
I can’t tell them…
---
“Wh-What?!” Eeteuk almost choked hearing it. “Are- Are you kidding?” he jumped from his bed and furiously run to the corner of the room, his hands pressed tightly on the wall.
“No, come tomorrow night at SM ballroom,” Kangin tried to hold his smile looking at the older shock expression. “Every once in year, SM school held a party in our ballroom and we have kind of family party there, Choi and Kim family,” he smiled amusedly, waking toward the other and stretched his hands beside Eeteuk’s head. “I want you pretend to be my girl,”
“I don’t want to,” Eeteuk crossed his arms in front of his chest, staring up to Kangin. “Why don’t you ask one of your girlfriend, or maybe that Kim Heechul,” his eyes narrowed, daring, chalenging.
The atmosphere was heavy, nothing was heard but their slow breath, “The moment this school taken over by SM, you already in the palm of my hand,” Kangin leaned closer, his nose touched Eeteuk;s, slightly terrified. “You will do it, Mr. President,” Kangin brushed his lips lightly on Eeteuk’s ear, his warm breath lingered on the older face, making hard to breathe. Eeteuk numbed, he was unable to say a single word.
Kangin grinned widely, “Then, I consider that as yes,”
---
“What are you doing here?” Hankyung asked, looking at red haired man sitting on his desk, in his class. That Kim Heechul was surrounded by his class mates who look at him curiously, not knowing the fact that he was a boy. No other people could tell if he didn’t introduce himself.
Heechul stood up after seeing Hankyung came in to class. “You know, I only sat here for fifteen minute and almost your whole class asking me out or asking to be his girlfriend,” Heechul said pleasantly, didn’t care about the others.
“I think you get wrong class... Only third grade of SM that study here and this is... second grade class, you should be studying in SM building,” Hankyung put his bag, then turned his attention to his curious class mates. “Boys, don’t get fooled by this person. He was a boy,” and he could hear his friends screaming in shock and suddenly everybody seemed busy with their own rumbling and leaving Heechul alone with Hankyung.
“Yah, you are no fun,” Heechul played with his long red hair, pretending to be angry.
Hankyung roled his eyes, “Again what are you doing here?”
“I’m looking for you, Honey~” Heechul dragged himself closer to the Chinese man, slinging both his arms around Hankyung’s neck. “Would you attend SM party?” he asked cutely. “You must be proud because I ask you in person,” Hankyung uncrossed the red headed man before his friends start asking him and more importantly, report it to Eeteuk.
“I have practice this night,” Hankyung averted his gaze from Heechul. He must admit that boy was really pretty, prettier than any other woman he’d been dating before.
“You will come, Pretty boy,” Heechul showed a smirk around his pink lips. “Because your lovely friend will be there,”
---
SM ballroom was really huge. It crafted nicely on his ceiling and decorated with beautiful lamps and ornaments. Meanwhile its windows pattern with crystal glass. It’s much looked like a hotel instead of school building. Eeteuk walked nervously inside the ballroom. He was dressed with white satin that Kangin gave to him and used a black long hair wig on his head.
“You come,” Kangin wound his arm around Eeteuk’s waist, making the older tensed a bit.
“You recognize me?” Eeteuk tried to get away from him but it’s useless against the other’s strength. Instead, Kangin grip it tighter.
“Don’t say too much. Take this,” Kangin whispered quietly on Eeteuk ear and passed him a glass of cocktail.
It’s really crowded, with the upper class and elite student. Girls from other elite shool joined the party too. Eeteuk thought that was really stupid, Kangin could pick girl he wanted from one of them. It was clear that the other boy just play around with him but it didn’t much help since it was for his school sake. So he prepared for the worst.
He looked nervously around him. It seemed that the guests giving him a jealous look, because he was walking beside Kangin. He saw a big stage near the hallway. There was a white baby piano and Eeteuk must kill his urge to play with it. He loved playing piano but unfortunately, he had no time to play with since he was busy in Student Committee. Kangin brought him up to stairway and pointed out to a well built man who leaned over the trails “He is Siwon, my classmate and cousin; his old man owned this school,”
The said man looked at Kangin and walked to them “Hi, Hyung,” his eyes slowly went over the person behind Kangin and Eeteuk could see something in his dark, unreadable eyes. His heart suddenly hammered as the man took his hand and kissed its back gently, “My name is Choi Siwon. May I know yours?” his sweet smile almost made the older melting.
He slightly trembled as he replied weakly, “Mine is Eeteuk,”
Siwon raised his thick brow, then smiled sheepishly, “So it’s you…?” and Kangin only replied with big smug on his face. Eeteuk looked at them confusedly. “What do you mean?” but stopped when Kangin came near him and tugged him closer. “You can walk alone, can’t you?” Kangin whispered on Eeteuk’s ears. “I need to talk with him,”
Dumbfounded, the eldest merely nod and walked away. He walked toward the quietest place, when only small people standing there. He gave them a smile but the others ignoring him and start chattering loudly, seemingly in purpose.
“Hey, hey, that’s the girl that came with Kangin-shii? Is she rich?”
“I’m pretty sure not, I didn’t even hear her name before… what was that… Park family, I didn’t hear such name,”
“She must be aim for Kim’s wealth. Just like that woman,”
“Yes, such disgraces to Honor family like Kim’s. Thanks to Choi, they still can be saved after that accident,”
“Hey,” one of them came to Eeteuk when he saw Eeteuk walked away from them. The said person only froze in his tract. “What are you doing here? It’s for elite family. An unknown family like yours isn’t permitted to attend this party,”
Eeteuk didn’t answer but ran outside, gaining a mocking laugh from the group. He opened the glass door to balcony and gripped the white fences there tightly. He really hated it. He hated Kangin who forced him to come here. He hated them mocking his family, but he hated himself more for not defending his family. His eyes were brimming with tears. He hated himself to be such a cry baby.
“Teukie,” he tilted his head up when he heard that loving voice. He must be imagining things. No way could he be there. But soon he knew when the familiar hand touch his shaking shoulder. “Teukie, look at me,” He wasn’t dreaming. Hankyung stood there, along with Kyuhyun and Ryewook.
Eeteuk broke in to sobs; he hugged Hankyung and cried in his embrace.
“You such a fool, hyung,” Kyuhyun said dryly. “I must be angry to you, but looking at Hankyung hyung, I suppose I can’t,”
“Hyung, are you okay?” Ryewook looked at him worriedly. “I’m sorry we didn’t stop them from… from bullying you,” he cried silently too. But the eldest shook his head and stretching his hand to his dongsaengs, pulling them into embrace.
“I’m sorry… it’s all my fault. I made you worries…” he said between sobs. “I’m glad I had you as friends,” and pulled away, studying his friends features. His heart felt warm. He felt safety around them.
“My, my,” Eeteuk turned over his shoulder to see red headed man walked over them.
“Kim Heechul…” He was dressing in red Chinese kimono with a high slit up to his thigh, he was more than gorgeous. He brought a pink fan and placed it in front of his face.
“I must admit that my brother have a good taste to boy too,”
Eeteuk eyes widened hearing that.
“Heechul is the one who said that you are here,” Hankyung said calmly.
“I know everything,” Heechul gave him his infamous rotten smile and leaning his waist over the fences. “Although my brother wants to keep it secret but he failed,”
“Your brother?”
“Kim Kangin is my younger brother,” Heechul looked at him pleasantly, seemed amused at the surprised look on the other face.
“I can see resemblance in you,” Eeteuk answered coldly. “Manipulating people,”
“Is that the way to say thanks to me, huh?”
“We owe you nothing,” Kyuhyun narrowed his eyes. “Your brother owe Eeteuk one,” he gritted his teeth.
“Don’t get upset with me, kid,” Heechul said in sing song voice. “I know him well, he must be in rage by now~”
---
The sound of glass broken was heard through the main hall, silencing the whole party.
“Hyung, your hand!” Siwon took Kangin’s hand but the older shove him crudely. Pieces of broken glass was scattering around his hand, making it bleeding.
“What did you say?” Kangin towered a small man, the previous man that talked mockingly to Eeteuk, making the man shivering down to his spine.
“I- I said that she must be came from downtown family… and she cried,” he was shaking wildly, his eyes couldn’t avert from Kangin’s intimidating ones.
“You said she cried?” Kangin fisted his hand and punched it down to table. His face was scary, his voice hoarse with fury. “You greedy little pig! Just because your parents have money didn’t mean that you can look at the other people down!! You have no right to judge her!!!”
“Hyung, please… Your hand is bleeding. Please let me take care of it first,” Siwon pleaded, slightly trembling.
“It’s nothing against the pain he felt,” Kangin said weakly to him, almost inaudible. He looked at his side when he felt a soft touch on his bleeding hand.
“Thank you for defending me,” he saw Eeteuk smile to him, the first time he smiled genuinely to him. He took the bandage from Siwon’s hand. “Your hand is bleeding because you defend me, right? You’re really confusing, Kangin-ah,” that’s the first time Eeteuk said ever so smoothly to him, making the taller’s heart thumping ridiculously wild in his chest. Eeteuk put the bandage slowly on his hand. The entire group seemed silenced, no sound was heard. Only his heart beat.
“Now, let us show you, what downtown people could do,” Eeteuk smirked to the audience and gesturing his friend to get on the stage. Kyuhyun and Ryewook nodded knowingly. “If you want battle, we give you war,” Eeteuk said challengingly to them and his famous dimple showed as he took his seat behind the piano.
“I hope this song will entertain you guys,” he played his piano skillfully, along with Kyuhyun and Ryewook beautiful voice.
---
“You didn’t join?” Heechul asked Hankyung when he saw the other only leaning his body on the table, his face was peaceful.
“Someone needs to stay here, in case stupid people want to disturb. I will gladly use my martial art to them,” he said calmly. “I’m here to be their guardian,”
“Then, maybe someday I need your protection from your stupid classmate,” he said nonchalantly.
“Last time I check, you’re a third grade not second,”
“Hm, then can I assume that you’re curious with me?”
“Because you always left thing unanswered,” Hankyung reasoned. “Just like right now, you are an upper class but you against them,”
“Because I don’t like them. It bores me. I hate boring people,” he replied casually.
Hankyung just smile hearing Heechul’s answer.
---
“I wanna hug him, He looks perfectly like a prince,” Sungmin said enthusiasedly to Yesung.
“Who?”
“That, the tallest on the stage, he has a deep voice too,” he hugged his bunny tighter.
“But I like the smaller voice more, that Ryewook boy,” Yesung commented lightly. “It looks like I find my new roomate,”
---
“It’s great performance, right Hae?” he looked at his lover, smiling.
“Yes, yes, I want to dance,”
“Oh,come on, Kangin hyung will kill us if we interupted this with our dance,” Eunhyuk chuckled slightly.
Donghae pouted, “He even warned us to get away from him... That possesive bear,”
---
The melody echoed through the SM building and more people stunned on his feet when they listened to the soothing voice of the sudden singers. No one dared to breathe as the performance hypnotized them. Kangin closed his eyes, focusing his mind to the sound of piano that Eeteuk playing. A small smile crossing his face.
