I'm just going to go out on a limb here and take a wild guess that James isn't dead because no author is that heartless to kill off loved main characters without no valid purpose like that (unless you're JK Rowling, but she doesn't count).

Still... I'm worried now! *sobs* I'll just lock myself away in my own little fantasy where chibi! Jim and Spock are okay and James is trying to present himself as the best suitable candidate for Spock's future spouse to his parents. XD I do hope you manage to fit in Sarek and Amanda meeting James somewhere before the end. Mmm, maybe Spock will shock the Vulcans by engaging in physical contact for an extended period of time openly in public. Oh the scandal of it all! :O

Ahem, yes, fantasy going good. I have almost forgotten the detah, destruction and angst of this chapter! No, it can't be only three chapters left! D> *cries*

I don't think James is gonna be thinking that far... in terms of his future. Spocket might... :)
I'm gonna fit in everyone - for a story this long, there is gonna be a lot of character resting chattering time later.

There's still more death and destruction left to go I'm afraid
But hopefully the ending I have planned will make up for it

HARDLY but I'm glad you think so - it's probably cos I DON'T make my own icons and therefor, well yeah :) must rely on other people's work and talent

I'D like to think I've written a relatively happy ending with a lot of interesting connotations for the future, so YEAH :D I don't wanna give too much away!

I agree. Angst is sooo overrated. Give me humor anyday!
