Studying some Russian, and scribbling notes, I remember the day I learned that in Cyrillic, the way to write T in lower case is m.
I know this is loltastic, but that was seriously one of the worst moments I ever had in studying Bulgarian. I was like "this shit is fucking crazy, there is no way I can learn this language. I quit."
Sometimes it's funny what pushes you over the edge. (Well, nearly, as of course I didn't actually give up. It was super tempting, though.)
