Seriously, the worst thing about having dependably liberal representation is that I just about never have to write my congresspeople. They're almost always doing the right thing on their own.
yeahhhhh my current congresswoman is one of the most left-wing people in the house, and sometimes I write to her but usually I get back an automated letter saying "yeah, duh, I'm on that already".
eta: I forgot to mention, she's retiring this year. I wasn't concerned that she would be replaced by another liberal until I saw that I HAD BEEN REDISTRICTED OMG.
