I went to the symphony!

It was just the local symphony, not like we went into the city and spent a lot of money (or any, actually, because the tickets were a gift), but they were pretty good and it was very enjoyable. Also I got all dressed up in my cute little black dress and red high heels, which made me the most dressed up person there. I was also the youngest person there, lol.

I spent the whole time imagining an orchestral J2 AU. :D

I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this, but I used to be SERIOUSLY into music. I started taking flute lessons when I was nine, and was really, really into it. I went to music camp every summer, I was first chair in high school band my junior and senior years, I was in the local youth orchestra, etc. I started out college as a music minor, but dropped it PRIMARILY for logistical reasons (I wouldn't have been able to study abroad) but also because I am horrible at theory. I mean, dreadful. The class could have been taught in Swahili and it would have made just as much sense to me.

Anyway, I like music and it was fun to go to the symphony and get dressed up.

Now it's raining (yay!) and i have tea (yay!) and I'm going to do some writing (ack!).
